Why you're blaming all of this on the Tea Party is unexplainable to me. The Tea party backed McCain.

both parties named Social Security and Medicare "the entitlements." The definition of U.S. entitlements is Social Security and Medicare. Everytime the politicians go on Fox and say they have to deal with the entitlements, they are telling you they have to deal with social security and medicare.

People get out way, way more than they paid in, so much so that if you look at the National Debt Clock you will see that the total unpaid for promises in social security and in the various Medicare programs comes out to $120 TRILLION dollars. If those programs were not welfare they would not have promised to pay the baby boomers $120 TRILLION dollars more than they collected in taxes. That is $120 trillion more promised out in SS and Medicare than taken in, in tax money.

She didn't get SS and Medicare. they say she applied for it but she died, she never got it. It's more like an Internet story that is out there saying they "believe" she applied for it.
