No they got nominated for a variety of reasons - none of which was their stand on immigration because as I correclty stated the majority of Americans do not care about the immigration issue. They care about the economy which functions better with a strong labor pool from the most menial of laborers to the most skilled. As I said it would be good to colelct taxes from these people but in the end if tax revenues fall short maybe the government will quit spending and wasting my money. And by the way I am not a fucktard - I am a rich fucktard who plans on getting richer

money is no good to someone who is dead. if nobody minds that the illegals can break our laws with impunity, what would be wrong if americans decide to break the laws too?

It would be nice to know who you're responding to!Try hitting reply. It might also help to use spell check. Oh what's your source on the majority of Americans not caring about the immigration issue?

Here's mine

Public Opinion Polls on Immigration
Printer-Friendly Version

The general public overwhelmingly favors immigration reform. Poll after poll shows that Americans want well-enforced, sensible, and sustainable immigration laws.

* 89% of Americans think illegal immigration into the U.S. is a problem (30% "extremely serious," 33% "very serious," and 26% "somewhat serious." (Time Magazine, Jan. 2006)
* 82% think that not enough is being done along the borders to keep illegal immigrants from crossing into the country.(New York Times/CBS May 2007)
* 68% feel that the number of immigrants who cross the border, whether legal or illegal is “too high”.(Polling Company, Sept. 2006)
* 62% oppose making it easier for illegal immigrants to become citizens of America.(Quinnipiac Univ., Feb. 2006)
