If the detective had been allowed to arrest Captain Z as he wanted to all of the hoopla, marches, etc could have been avoided. Had Chief Lee not lied to Trayvon's parents, had he not refused to let Trayvon's parents listen to the 911 tapes, the aftermath could have been avoided.

No, Trayvon's parents had to go public in order for due process to work. They had to sue to have access to the 911 tapes. Why? Because Trayvon was a black boy, no other reason. They never expected Trayvon's parents to stand up to them and out them.

When it comes to police in many areas of the nation, I agree with you. And those things happen to many groups If you are not from the central Florida region then you would be aware this police chief was actually changing the culture of that department. He replaced a history of Chiefs that were not totally honorable. He is supported by most of the police under him in that department. He followed protocol from the events that transpired. Having Sharpton and Jackson show up to start the riot brigades was a dangerous folly and handling this event with negotiations a much better option.

I did NOT make up names for the Captain Zimmerman (the alleged Murderer).

His fellow homeowners affectionately refers to him as "Captain, Zimmerman."

The state if Florida has charged and labeled him as an "alleged murderer."

So, your beef about "making up names" has been sent to the cemetery.

Correct. There will be a trial

Probably a SYG hearing, but nothing positive coming out if that for the Captain (the alleged Murderer).

He just won't have to appear at arraignment, but it will take place.

Ok Zazz. How is this for our bet:

My bet is that the written waiver filed recently by O'Mara will act as both a waiver of Zimmerman's appearance for the Arraignment Date, and a waiver of the formal Arraignment Date/Hearing itself altogether as a stand alone "Arraignment Hearing". There may be multiple hearings scheduled wherein they reference the Arraignment waiver filing and plea for the record, but it will NOT remain scheduled as an exclusive Arraignment Hearing in open court between the Prosecutor and the Defense, and will not be presided over exclusively as such by the Judge. How's that?

Chief Lee and the Sanford Police Department wasn't interested any "negotiations."

That is a big fat LIE. You can believe that folly if you want to. Chief Lee treated the parents very badly.

That bozo of a State Attorney is certainly no better. His record is atrocious. Keeping innocent men in prison for years is not something to be proud of.

His ass needs to be treated the same way he treated the innocents who languished in prison because of him. Twenty-eight years is too long to be in office. My hope is that he's kicked out before his term is up. He's a disgrace to law enforcement.

He reminds me of Ed Austin (former State Attorney in North Florida). They share the same MO...disgraces.

You can try and sugar-coat this situation all you want, but I've been on the front lines and see this kind of stuff happen over and over and over. I'm no Johnny-come-lately. I fully understand what's going on. If you want to keep your head in the sand, so be it. But definitely NOT me.

You say Chief Lee followed protocol. The best I can say about that is that is debatable. You don't want to know what I really think, just based on the evidence in the public domain.

There would be NO investigation but for the public outcry. Don't be disingenuous.
