We can assume nothing about Obama. All we know for sure is that when he didn't have the advantage of reading it off the teleprompter Obama said there are 57 states. I hate to correct you, but he did NOT say that there were 57 states. He said that he was in 57 states in the last year. To me that is not the same thing. He would have been in some twice, three times, and some not at all, but saying that you were in 57 states in the last year is not the same as saying that there are 57 states. Agree? You are wrong about Jimmy Carter also. He was smart enough to tell us that we had to do something about conserving energy or finding another source 30 years ago. We did not listen and we are paying the price now. Some of us seem to have selective memories based on our politics. By the way I am a former Republican that once considered myself to be Conservative. What changed? I received an education.

"He would have been in some twice, three times, and some not at all, but saying that you were in 57 states in the last year is not the same as saying that there are 57 states. Agree?" I don't agree. By your logic he would have said he's been 500 states in the past year since he's been cris-crossing the country trying to gain the nomination. Admit it. Obama can read, but he doesn't think so well on his feet without the teleprompter.

If you became a flaming liberal as a direct result of obtaining an education, then my friend...you got ripped off!!! You should ask for your money back! What a fool!

Don't answer - no one will believe you anyway. Helen Waite, you are CLUELESS!! I LIVE in the Metro Detroit area. This JERK of a mayor has been getting preferential treatment for YEARS!(because he's black and because he's the mayor!) There comes a point when your criminal behavior exceeds the grace you receive as a black man, from your own community. Detroit is over 70% BLACK. The CITY COUNSEL is 90% black. The city prosecutor who is prosecuting the mayor is also BLACK. Do you still want to argue that he's an ANGEL and that he's only being charged with FELONIES because he's BLACK?? It's amazing you still function without any ability to reason or logic. I bet you're on food stamps living off the government. Am I right? I thought so!

You keep up that godly behavior of yours and you'll have your ticket to Heaven sent to you Fed-Ex by God himself!!! I don't even want to know what religion you practice! Scientology perhaps?

Once again, the negative spin. Sorry Canton, enough about me. How about you? Maybe you can tell me first what mainstream means to you...you had such a knee-jerk reaction to the term.
