Alliances are fine but each nation must ensure it has a capable force. Doesn't have to be big but should be well trained and well equipped. England is a great example. I personally don't want the US providing backing to anyone plus I wish we would abandon NATO altogether. Most European countries have paper military forces thus benefit greatly from the US shield. No thanks, let them build and equip on their own. America needs to take care of America and pull back from the world militarily.

He is on the Russia forum most of the time knocking America and promoting Russia.

Don't make things up or put words in my mouth, l'il Abe. As I've stated before, I am not Russian nor am I anti-American, nor anti-Polish as you consistently attribute to others who you've convinced yourself are me. We should all learn to appreciate other's perspectives and get along as best we can in this world. The alternative does not bode well for humanity. It's high time you stopped being such a simpleton. Life is too short.

In general I agree with you about people getting along, in fact I think all of us Slavic people should stick together, but you keep using your other personalities to knock other Slavic people like Poles and Ukrainians. So you have a bit of a credibility problem my friend.

Oh really? Give me some concrete examples (not figments of your imagination) where I've knocked Poland and Ukraine per se, not individual posters. Please, enlighten us with more of your gobbledegook.

Maybe when corporations stop bottom feeding off the tax payers. Maybe when elected law makers in both the state and federal stop bottom feeding off tax payers. Until then thank you for your support chump.

neutral observer wrote: The EU is a vast multinational imperial structure which totally dominates Europe. Sort of like the Roman Empire or the Ottoman Turks of today. Poland no longer exists as a sovereign nation anyway and no one threatens the ever expansionist EU. So who really cares about defense cuts? Are you on LSD? The EU member states are not united, act against one another, and are mostly in deep financial and economic trouble. The EU single currency is barely still existing and there is a real risk of some countries either leaving the EU (UK) or being thown outr of it (Greece and Hungary). What sort of "Empire" is that? As for Poland not being a sovereign nation, well tell me something new. Alongside most of Europe its defence is based on US assistance, and its economy is effectively controlled by Germany.

LOL Poland got swamped from the West by Germany, and from the ERast by the Soviet Union, but Britain and France didn't lift a finger. Also, Poland keeps looking at the US as their protector now (missile shield and other rubbish). Well, I find that dead funny. Because, as a matter of fact, it's the US that betrayed Poland and gave it to Stalin! So much for protection. At the 1945 Conference of Potsdam , Truman bartered Poland against the Persian oil fields occupied by the Reds. Stalin couldn't stop chuckling ... So, who's going to betray Poland next time, eh? Piss off Robby Boy - you are a bore.

China is not happy with our spending habits. Actually Poland does. It just goes to show how totally ignorant such dick head Yanks as you are that you are unaware of your own allies contribution to your "war against terrorism". If I had my way the UK should pull its troops out of Afghanistan and let you mothers stew in your own juice.

The Poles I worked with in Afghanistan were all top notch fighters and professional soldiers- just sayin... Observer wrote: <quoted text> Are you for real? The Polish army at this moment in time could not either defend Poland or, for that matter, fight its way out of a paper bag. You live in some kind of fantasy world and clearly you know zero about the state of the Polish military. May be, with lots of hard work and money, the Polish forces will become a serious force in the future - but that won't happen for another 20 years in my opinion - if even then.

Our people are dying due to lack of health care, jobs, and our infrasturture is a mess...no more. You'I'm really sorry to hear that your country is in such a poor situation. As for the Polish government protecting its own country well - that will be the day! It's of no concern to me.

Well this is a new one on me. Since when has the US been handing out wads of cash in Europe? Perhaps you mean the EU, but then it is not your money is it? As for the sh!t not being at your borders - well except for 9/11 you are right. But then you have a habbit of exporting your sh!t to other countries such as Afghanistan and Iraq. Then you bitch that your allies are not enthusiastic about helping you dig yourselves out of the sh!t you get yourselves into.

However, you have to realise that the ones sent to Afganistan are exclusively professional, career soldiers who have volunteered to serve in ASfghanistan. They are not really representative of the Polish army. That asside Poland does not have anything like the amount of modern military hardware it needs to defend itself. It will take decades to develop a real defence capability.
