Get That Fool wrote: <quoted text> How do you explain that 70% of CA was expected to vote down Prop 8 and that Maine was supposed to 'overwhelmingly' vote in ssm, based on 'reported polls'.....what people say, and what they do are two different things... The polling was wrong, like it often is on contentious issues. That STILL doesn't change the simple fact that 48% of Californians voted in favor of marriage equality, as did 47% of Mainers. Spin that however you want, but that's STILL nearly half of all voters. We'll find out what happens in Maine. Recent polls there show between 55%- 57% support for marriage equality. Considering the anti-gays are too chickenshit to tell the truth to a pollster, and the fact that many who answer polls don't actually vote, I imagine the vote will be much closer. Could we still lose Maine & Washington; obviously. Could we win in Maine & Washington; just as obvious. Time will tell. Btw, I never saw a poll on Prop 8 that showed anywhere near 70% support, but then the truth has never been your forte.

If you don't believe that's fine. Being that offensive isn't. Something you really can't do is be 'married' to a same sex person in Michigan. I'm living proof that you can indeed be married to a person of the same sex in Michigan, since I'm married to a person of the same-sex and I live in Michigan. Your stupidity astounds even me, and I've dealt with a LOT of stupid people over the years.

Do you think that would happen again in CA, TODAY, with even MORE support for gay folks and their families? The polls simply reflect the trends, and the trend is not swinging toward the anti-family, anti-gay votes. No one said that it would be an instant change, but do you deny the TREND that the polls show? I've never seen those ads. Can you link them?

Does your country recognize your 'marriage?' No and no. Therefore, you are not married in Michigan.

How many times do you need to be told that your acceptance is neither requested nor required? Did your repeated calumny change ANYTHING in Massachusettes?

Interesting wrote: <quoted text> Since they didn't legalize gay marriage in Michigan, you must have got married in another state but live in Michigan. Right? Correct. Just like millions of other couples, I got married in another state. The fact that Michigan doesn't recongize my marriage in no way negates the simple fact that I'm married. Ironically, if I tried to marry a woman in Michigan I'd be denied a marriage license because I'm already married. I'd have to leave the state, get divorced in a state which allows same-sex couples to divorce, then return to Michigan, and THEN I could marry a woman. Yet Michigan supposedly doesn't recognize my current marriage, but yet they do.

I have a marriage license from the state of Massachusetts which says otherwise. And by this time next year the federal govt will be forced to recognize my marriage. If Michigan doesn't recognize my marriage, then why would I have to get divorced first if I wanted to marry a woman in Michigan?

SCOTUS has ruled that the BSA has a Constitutional right to their exclusive membership policy, yet the gays continue to attack. Either the homosexual mind is intractable, or they are keeping the pressure up until such time they can successfully infiltrate SCOTUS, or they are following Satan's Scorched Earth Policy, where any organization that cannot be infiltrated, will be discredited and destroyed.

Does Madame Tom's crystal ball show you the next powerball number too????
