The Mendicant wrote: <quoted text> Yes, American, however there is something you do not understand. According to James H. Cone, founder of Obama's so-called religion, black liberation theology, although blacks do hate whites, such black hatred is not racism. So there you have it. It was obvious to me in his rant against the "American government" and its treatment of blacks that he meant "white American government". I'm not the only person with this opinion. That said, I do not doubt his sincerity and that he saw much injustice.

I provided a link to how many votes and how many were voted 'present' If you cannot do the math, let your computer do it. No, you did not provide a link to support he voted more than 3% on present whild in the senate, or that he voted present on any vote in congress. You keep attacking my math skills, I assume because I am a woman. Females are just as good at math than men. Nuture turns them away with comments like the ones you are throwing at me.

However, too many Caucasian Americans have justify their dislike with Senator Obama on many illegitimate issues. They are entitled to vote for whoever and I would not get into a serious debate. My motivation is not to sway opinions, just gauge who is real. I appreciate it when they are extremely honest - like Gunner. I do believe Senator Obama is making a huge mistake by not recognizing this reality. It demands he does not follow the normal script - I hope he understands he has to be 10 times better than Senator McCain. Otherwise, I do not think he can win. Many Caucasian Americans think Africans in America look at Senator Obama as anything but a politician. Only if the knew, his policies are more Caucasian American driven, than the foolishery that is being spreaded. Blacks always have to be twice as good to get half as much as whites in America. So many whites are more concerned about keeping the hierarchy intact than transcending race and electing the leader of a lifetime.

Careful not to offend anyone. It is a shameful political ploy to get his foot in the door. It worked. If it were a 'shameful ploy' McCain would have gladly jumped on it instead of bringing in paris and britney. Obama is better than most state senators in 'voting present'

Thank the Democrats of the sixties for screwing this one up big time. BOth of you are collecting government checks. But on this forum, you can both be big powerful bosses with lots of minorities you hired but can't fire them, cause ...you're full of sh1t Most EEOC cases are filed for white men, age discrimination, next, white women, gender discrimination. Clarence Thomas was the head of EEOC, the sexual harrasser of black women in charge.

And even more amazing is when people who are simply at an event where someone talks and gives a viewpoint are criticized for sharing that viewpoint. I would think that in the land of the free you would be able to listen to a viewpoint without being required to adopt it. Oh well, I guess its just a red neck agenda in some parts of the great USA. ..But we don't have barbaric hunting practices and beat little animals over the head with clubs..we can have our opinions but we are more civilized..your govermnment sucks..

He offers the same liberal agenda offered by those that came before him. More government intervention, tax the rich, government programs, use tax payer dollars to help the poor, blah blah blah. Lower taxes for everyone and reduce the federal budget! Smaller government equals happier citizens.

Too bad that Michelle didn't choose to leave that type of service. I don't watch Oprah. I have had a career that limited my daytime viewing. Since retiring, I haven't started watching.

BOO! "BOO" is right. Wonder if the dems will send me a 'fuel economy' computer chip for my Mustang GT? I already keep my tires properly inflated. Wondering - should I get a $600 "tune-up" every 6 months?

Their behavior makes them ladies and not their color. I personally know women that are promiscious. Again, it is their behavior and not their color. I used a generalization to show the absurity of another generalization. I guess that was over your head.

Simple. The criticism you're criticizing is also free speech. What, the people speaking or sharing their viewpoint shouldn't be spoken to or spoken about? It's all "free speech". Nothing "red neck" about that.
