While the rhetoric of the freshmen may be loud, the Club for Growth strives to hold lawmakers accountable by examining how they actually voted once they got to Congress. In many cases, the rhetoric of the so-called “Tea Party” freshmen simply didn’t match their records."

Seems you better start saving a lot of money if you want to you want to keep the lights on. New capacity rates for 2015 went for $136 per megawatt. That's 8(yes eight) times the $16 per megawatt for 2012. You think we are in a recession now? How many of you can pay an 8 times larger power bill every month? How many businesses will close?

On another note: January 1 2013 will see the largest tax increase on all sectors of the economy ever in the history of the United States. It is being called 'Taxageddon'.

Just vote the guy back in there. There won't be a country left to save!!!

Ok, Galt? you keep saying it's the economy. Well if one would judge by our rightwingers on here, how many have been talking about abortion? It's not the economy; it's gay marriage and abortion that keeps you people going. Controlling other peoples lives is what keeps you voting. Not the economy.

LOL! Never again Flack never again.

Also, we are not in a recession, go look up the definition if you do not believe me.

Jan 1 2013 is when the tax cuts for the rich expire, it's not 'largest tax increase on all sectors of the economy ever', quit lying.

Oh and quit being such a dupe for the rich.

'Unraveling the spending cuts should do the trick: Taxmageddon is a misnomer, says David Dayen at Firedoglake. The automatic cuts in defense and social spending under the debt-reduction deal "would hit growth much harder than the taxes." Congress can prevent the worst-case scenario by disarming the trigger that will force these automatic cuts. And letting the Bush tax cuts expire could be a good thing, because Congress could then pass "a different set of 'Obama tax cuts'" that make the wealthy pay more, help the middle class, and prevent a new recession.'

http://theweek.com/article/index/228389/will-...

They are more concerned about the spending cuts, quit being a shill for the rich.

Well considering this president has managed to pit race against race, class against class, gender against gender and his mantra in 2008 was to fundamentally transform this nation, it looks like he will succeed next year if enough bozos vote for him.

Besides, he warned us (during his cap and trade transformation) that our electric bills would "necessarily" skyrocket.

It's almost too incredulous to believe, isn't it?

My first reaction when Obama won? The country has been hijacked.
Call me psychic.
