Chicago Guy wrote: <quoted text> 1) You seemed to invert 'intra' and 'inter' in your previous post: either way, you're incorrect, as the federal government has a right, upheld by the SCOTUS, to regulate BOTH, when it impacts the national economy. 2) What on earth are you prattling on about? I'm not a Catholic-- I left the church on my 18th birthday, and have never looked back. Funny. I just had an irrational problem with being told what to do by sexist child rapists and real estate barons who had no experience whatsoever in the real world, and pretended to be closer to God than anyone else. But I AM a Christian Progressive, or Christian Liberal if you prefer. I capitalize both intentionally, for, like most liberals, I have catholic tastes. 3)So if my religion tells me black people are of the devil, I can refuse to serve them at my gas station? If I'm a devout conservative muslim, can I demand that any woman who wants to order falafel must wear a burka? The SCOTUS interpreted way too much as within the powers of the Federal government to regulate. Impact on the national economy is not a legitimate standard. The legitmate standard is that goods and services must cross state lines for the Federal government to regulate the activity. The wording in the Constitution is only ambigous on the point in the minds of the liberal justices who wanted to ignore the Constitution and precedent. The New Deal extremists on the court ignored precedent and unconstitutionally expanded the Federal government's control over the economy.

You asked Wow. I'm so glad I asked. You are a real diamond in the rough. You are as rare as they come. I'm so impressed with your strength. Also, what a perfect example for everyone to not judge others because you don't know them or know where they came from-a really good lesson to Christians in particular. I,m a 57 y/o grandfather and you're never too old to learn. My heart aches for you and I love you as a beautiful soul that I know you are. I, people, need your sweet heart to help us live as better people. Thank you very much.

Faking what when I was young my first vote ever, I voted for Jimmy Carter as I had non political parents. But in four years and the disaster Carter was with double digit interest rates etc.. I knew that I was on the wrong track politically. I voted for Reagan for President. I never looked back, I have been a conservative for 30 years. Do you even what a Reagan Democrat meant? Do you have any clue as to history, just one year ago the Democrats suffered their worst loss in 60 years. Do you think the tea party is not going to be voting, think again. naturalwonder wrote: <quoted text>Your not a Reagan democrat, you are a right-wing nut job faking it. Us too here, we are committed to getting the word out here in Illinois as well. Even within our state Illinois, it is the Chicago area that votes liberal, the rest of our state including collar counties and downstate roughly two-thirds will be voting as well. Obama was here first, we know the story of left here in Illinois, what a train wreck our state is here, thanks to the progressive left . Caterpillar opted out of building here, thanks Governor Quinn, equals lost jobs and revenue. And we can take this vote in suburbia, and downstate, as look at Illinois and the disaster of debt the progressive liberal left and the unfunded public funded pensions leaving our state 130 billion in debt. We have the next generation to be concerned about, we will stop this train wreck of an administration at the voting booth in November, we love our children dearly. The kids are so worth it! The tea party has backed itself into a corner and has become insignificant, they may win congressional seats but will have no useful power in the presidential race. Well lets see, you have a Mormon that while Governor of Mass, invented obamacare, you have a right wing religious zealot that lost his own senate seat by 15 points in a swing state, you have an old fat gas-bag that was kicked out of his own speaker ship by his own party and you have Ron Paul. If you hold your finger on your nose and spin around three times saying Ron Paul. He will appear and teach you to spin straw into gold....really.

Interesting timeline from Dubya himself. http://georgewbush-whitehouse.archives.gov/ne... Dubya tried to reform Freddie and Fannie. Why it didn't happen when Repubs. had a majority in both houses is beyond me. It's time to limit the federal government. All of that power breeds corruption.

I was a Reagan Democrat, you still do not understand what that means. It means I was a Democrat and voted for Reagan, now after 8 years of Reagan, I was already a conservative for 8 years at that point, so why would I vote for Clinton later on. I became a conservative when I voted for Reagan. But at least Clinton could balance the budget, can't say the same for the clown in the WH now. You will see how insignificant the tea party is, listening to the regular lib media would have you believe that drone statement. But that is okay if my party had just suffered the worst loss in 60 years I wouldn't be over confident, but please do not let me stand in your way. The ignorant usually are bold when standing up for Obama. Hopefully we start having some huge rallies this spring throughout this nation for the tea Party Founding Father's principles and our beloved Constitution! The tea party is reinvigorated, watch and learn. It is the economy (and jobs) Stupid, who said that LOL. naturalwonder wrote: <quoted text>Like I said, your not a Reagan Democrat.
