Marine officers take being a Marine seriously- and that means not tolerating insubordination from junior Marines who won't follow orders.
Civilian Stein is now free to rant all he wants- and given the weak job market, and his "Less than Honorable" discharge which will be a huge impediment to finding employment, he's going to have plenty of free time on his hands. He can make all the Obama cracks he wants.
