Why not the definition for "cauliflower"?
Curious as to why you would not post the definition they use for atheist:
Noun: atheist ey-thee-ist
Someone who does not believe in god; someone who believes that no deities exist
+++++ and ++++
Noun: agnostic ag'nós-tik
Someone who is doubtful or noncommittal about something
- doubter
A person who claims that they cannot have true knowledge about the existence of God (but does not deny that God might exist)
++++
GOSH! TWO DIFFERENT DEFINITIONS!
Are they "technically" the same?
Was there ever a more pedantic person in serious need of alot more fiber in their diet than you? LOL! Seriously.

I included that word in the ever loving definitions I supplied. It supports what I said. You fail to understand this, however.
Oh, he understands fine.

Unpleasant little sh!t, too.

I'm heading for Tampa, be there Sunday. What's the weather like this weekend?
Saturday might be a bit icky, especially in the morning, but Sunday should be back to normal - possible afternoon thunderstorms, otherwise warmish.

Liar, liar, pants on fire.
I gave **********TEN********** definitions, ten different sources, one after the next, in the exact sequence that **I** was given by one of your friends of Dorothy.
Are all ten (and I gave only the first ten) definitions "Christian" definitions?
I was responding to one in particular, that was a Christian definition. Had it said something about Zeus in the definition of atheist, I would naturally assume a believer in Zeus had written it.

We've had this discussion already with Buck Crick and he didn't do any better, so you're in good company.

70-80% regulated capitalism? 20-30% socialism? What does that mean exactly? What is included in these figures? How do you even attempt to quantify policy? And 25% of what income? Earned income, sole proprietorship income? Corporate income? Capital gains income?
Secular humanism is just as open to interpretation as any religion. While you and perhaps other humanists you know may look at Guantanamo as horrific, others may very easily argue that Guantanamo is torturing a few humans to keep millions of humans safe, and is hence a humanistic decision.
My point is, who will decide?
These are ridiculous objections.

I'm not a professional city planner. I can only speak in philosophical terms about economics, not pragmatics. The system I envision is somewhat like the one of my youth. Most tax revenues were regular income and capital gains, both graduated (higher marginal tax levels) with the rates of the latter being higher. Other levels of government relied on sales taxes and property taxes. That seemed fine. Ask people who know more how to do it.

I explained what I meant by those percentages. I explained what the public funds were to be spent on. and approximately what income tax rate the average tax payer would remit.

Furthermore, I am not interested in such details. They are not relevant to me. I don't know just how such things are done, but others do.

I'm not really interested in governments and economic systems too much. I just want Jesus out of my world. I'm tired of the hate. You've never once to my knowledge acknowledged the atheophobia that several of us have told you about. And I don't like what Christians homophobia. I really, really hate that.

And I detest what these insects do to scientific education and national scientific literacy. Like termites. They have no moral right, and they won't stop on their own. Do the math.

I'll tell you how the math works out: Jesus loses. With that much going against it, you can't make Christianity seems like something I want to live with. And that was just the start. I can't see what I get out of that church or why we would want it in the world. Who the f@ck do they think they are to treat other people like that, or to attack knowledge. For what?

No, whether there be no gods, or two thousand gods, when one says there are no gods, in the English language, it covers one god, two gods or 734 gods.
No gods is no gods.
Are you going to tell us what "is is" now?
AGAIN: from the top, I have maintained that agnostic and atheist are two words that mean two different things.
WAHHHHHH! Don'tcha wish you had staked this ground out before I got there and now you insist I am wrong because you want to believe I am a Christian. Or a Jew... Or a Muslim... whatever it is this week?
Now you are stuck defending KrustyOdor's untenable position (another untenable position).
Look this up:

Derpa derpa derp derp, derpa derp, derpa derp derp.

On the other hand, the good news is that fundie Christians are increasingly marginalizing themselves as bigots as society progresses around them homophobia-wise, and science thrives on being questioned.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Virgo

You have a very high opinion of a certain person today, believing that they can do no wrong. But how realistic are you being? It looks as though you're viewing the world through rose-colored glasses, which is fine if it's only a temporary state but quite another matter if you're deliberately ignoring problems and pretending that they don't exist.
