In America, atheists are still in the closet

So do many other interest and identity groups. Complaint is our political lingua franca: it's what Occupiers, Tea Partiers, Wall Street titans, religious and irreligious people share.

I mentioned Gorillas were in the 20th century considered Mythological cryptids.
That we still don't really have a complete fossil record of Gorillas.
Although we ironically have a earlier & better fossil record of Gigantopithecus.
Yet Scientists support Gigantopithecus went extinct 150,000 yrs ago because fossil evidence ends of Gigantopithecus then.
Yet we don't even have a real fossil record of Gorillas which by this same measure would support Gorillas should be extinct.
Yet there are similar Gigantopithecus like creatures reported near the Gigantopithecus fossil record in Asia as the Yeti & Yeren.
I don't know what part of this statement says to have one track minded British OCD desperate anal ape attacks?
Have you found Neil Armstrong's last interview yet?

I met the man.

He shook my little hand.

I don't think that Kaku himself would set himself above Sagan. The two are so alike in so many ways that each wold be likely to admire the other as a peer and a brother were Sagan still alive. In one interview, Kaku mentioned Sagan in almost the same breath along with Edwin Hubble, who he calls the greatest astronomer of the twentieth century. Isaac Newton wrote, "If I have seen farther it is by standing on the shoulders of giants." I suspect that, if asked, Kako would agree that he has one foot on Sagan's shoulder.
Michio Kaku certainly has a very different view on U.F.O's than Carl Sagan that is for sure.

It matters to a theist because a theist has evidence for god.
No evidence exists for a multiverse. It just suited someone because it fit certain mathematical considerations.
And no, the multiverse is not an answer to why the universe looked so special. It simply transfers the question to a different locale, even if there was a reason to think it existed - which there isn't.
Do all theists have evidence of their god(s)?

Spirits & U.F.O's are a worldwide issue sighted by millions of people with accounts going back thousands of years.
This is not a one culture thing that just started.
It is uniform across cultures for thousands of years.
That is something worthy of study.
Untrue.

PLENTY of people believe in the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, etc.

If UFO's and ghosts are to be studied, they must be studied too!

To write off the Easter Bunny is to be a poor scientist

Well yeah we have explained much of the "supernatural" by Science.
I think there is far more supernatural that needs to be explained by science.
The worldwide Ghost & U.F.O sightings for thousands of years across cultures?
It simply should be studied.
I understand why it isn't studied.
Simply the Government funds most scientists & with that funding Government gives scientists.
Gives Government a hand in shaping Scientific government.
It seems Government is just completely afraid of people knowing if Paranormal exists.
For then people would panic & act delusional & that would go against a logical money driven productive society.
Most people are too stupid to handle such things as Ghosts, Aliens , U.F.O's as being real.
They panic.
I personally can handle this knowledge. Most people are too weak & stupid.
Okay...

I didn't want to say anything before, for fear that the elitists in these threads will make fun of me.

But I have been aboard a mothership once.

I have visited Mercury, Mars and Uranus.

Uranus was godawful, believe me.

Easter Bunny & Santa Claus stem from a singular culture.

Spirits & U.F.O's developed in isolated cultures across the globe.
Including isolated tribes.

Very different.

I have my own plane. I might even build a plane of my own someday.
How is that "expansion of the mind", whatever that means? Sure, i learned stuff, but I've learned lots of stuff.
Is that "mind expanding"?
I'm not following you here.
That is one consequence of expansion of mind. Now you may live a new reality. While the reality of others is never to fly, but rather drive, your reality includes the option of flight. It is not even in the dreams of others, let alone goals, yet you have it.

The expansion of the mind includes entails not only expansion of content, but more importantly context. A highly specialised doctor may be regarded as expanding in content, but not necessarily context. A non specialised general practitioner who has become a chef or an artist or musician however, has expanded his context. He can see the world differently, not only through the eyes of his profession, but through alternative thinking as well, through artists or musicians eyes. A genius would normally be specialised in one thing, while having an entry or mid-level understanding of everything else.

I don't know what experience you have had regarding mysticism, but from my experience, mysticism is a training to be aware of what you don't know, and then go and find out. Some people don't need mysticism or or any other equivalent, as the drive to expand comes naturally. Da Vinci was such a man. He was a painter, sculptor, architect, musician, scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, geologist, cartographer, botanist, and writer. People think he was just naturally gifted, but the only natural gift he really had was the raging undying will to know everything. Everything. All of his acheivements were a result of this characteristic.

For the people who do not have this characteristic, mysticism is one of the ways to cultivate it. Seek knowledge even if you risk your reputation, even if it makes you foolish. Seek knowledge everywhere and all the time. From a class, from life, from others. Be fearless about it.

When you consider all of the allegations and controversy, it is actually very difficult to determine if UFOs or aliens exist, unless one lands in your lounge.

It is difficult to determine whether a UFO is of alien origin, or just some government military experiment. Many skeptics of the government, particularly the U.S. government, have made claims that their government remains 5 to 10 years ahead of the public in technology. If the government wants its people to believe in alien invasion, they may be quite capable of staging the whole thing. It could possibly also be used as a coverup for plundering resources in other countries, if the "War on Terror" sales pitch ever fails.

Idk what a notbot is, a new character in the upcoming transformer movie? Anyways do show me the Atheist on here making threats of violence. Also if you think Atheists are superstitious, you obviously don't understand the meaning of the word puppet. Honestly that doesn't come as a surprise.

Indeed when you look at the hatred and threats that come from the NotBots on here it's easy to see the negative influence superstition has on their lives.
