At first I thought this was satire. It reads like something from The Onion.
Good luck with that.

Good choice for McCain. As for the experience concern for Palin voiced by Democrats, just look in the the mirror regarding Obama's (lack of) experience.

Both tickets are now balanced top to bottom -- with inexperience. Winners & still losers -- USA.

Obama talks about change (and what changes has he actually brought in any office that has held?). Palin is an agent of change. Look at what she has done in 2 years in office.

If McCain is elected, he's not going to last an entire term, he'll drop dead from cancer or a heart attack. So, Palin would be President. Seriously, who thinks she should be president? She has little experience in running a government and no experience with foreign policy. Obama can actually say he has more experience than she does. I think it is a bad pick, and it was probably done solely to try to pick off disgruntled Hillary voters from the Democrats.

Great choice. A strong women in the White House is great. There will be a lot of Dems that will be afraid of her. This is great.

WOW!! Great move on McCain's part. He's gone up several notches in my book. And yes, she's got more experience than Obama. It'll be interesting how the next few weeks pan out. If she's as tough as they're saying, she'll do well and only help McCain.

Smart Choice, surprising but smart. She will bring in the conservatives, who have been missing in action. She will also bring in some of the Hillary voters as an added bonus. Her minimal experience should not matter because the person in the primary position, has heaps of it and he is not going away anytime soon. Risky move, but could pay HUGE dividends.

hey "HMM", obama had BETTER be able to say that he has more experience than his opponent's VICE PRESIDENT pick! DUH! re-read what you wrote and consider how dumb that sounds! BUT i would argue that he does NOT have more experience than her - what governmental body has obama ever run?

Great article. Sarah Palin is a great model. She'll do very well as VP from 2008-2016, and then she'll be the first female president in 2017. Alaska is also a great constrast to the cess pool in Illinois.

think about what some of you are saying..you are more than happy to make obama the leader of the free world with LESS experience running a government than this woman, but you say that she doesn't have the experience to be vp when she may or may not ever be president. that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever..THINK...

Utterly silly article. This is exactly why so many people don't take elections seriously. They get lulled into thinking...elections, um, who cares... Who really cares if she hunts. We are talking about electing someone to run the country. It does not matter if you hunt or not. What matters is knowledge, wisdom, and judgment more than anything. She is perhaps a female version of J. Danforth Quayle. Irrelevant, except to try to gain votes by pandering to a certain segment of the population. McCain's choice of Palin is about pandering to women. But women voters are much smarter than that.

She carries a gun! She hunts! She has ZERO RESPECT for women's issues and women's rights, despite being a woman herself. Thanks for putting the final nails in the coffin of your pathetic campaign, McCain. The wife-beating misogynist and the anti-choice woman. What a pair.

Me, I have an opposite concern, and that's is Obama will be able to serve his term (if he's ever elected) because it will be 4 years of hell that this country will go through under an Obama administration (again, this is a BIG if).
