Racial attitudes pose challenge for Obama

Obama is backed by the billionaire SOROS who does not share the American belief in the Constitution!( At least Hilliary had the backing of Warren Buffet.) Obama spouts off that he will promote a BIG change. What Change? No one knows! I for one will not vote for him.

Voters say it is not because of race as far as I am concerned it is a blow to their ego! Another said he doesn't like his middle name maybe Obama should change it to John! Others say they will vote for McCain these people as I no some women who say they won't vote are older pennsylvania dutch who are so backward and haven't even graduated from high school. What do they no about politics? They have been in the dark so long they don't even have the common sense to think and the voters who will spitfully vote for McCain are slitting their other peoples throats beside their own don't vote if its just to be spitful.

It's not about Obama's race, it's about his politics and where he stands on the issues! They stink. So does McCain's stance on the issues, they stink too.

This whole race thing is a cop out.

Jay Leno interviewed people randomly on the street by his set one night asking for whom they'd vote. Every one of the 'african americans' he approached each replied 'I'm voting for the black guy'.

The race card runs both ways & I, too, am still waiting for something definitive about the word 'change' that Obama seems to toss around all over the place. There's something sad about this country when someone like this can get this far in a presidential election.

These people are going to be really surprised if Obamma does gets elected, he will make it harder on the black people. They think by him getting in their free rides will begin. You still have a congress that is white. Or it could be they believe that its a foot in the door .

OMG you people are crazy... nobody is voting for Barack because he's black... he's half black and half white if you forgot..... People who are voting for Obama are fed up with the way things have been and are willing to take a chance on his "change" however it manifests itself.

Did you get that info in another email? 75,000 people turned out to see a primary candidate. Something that was done before. They weren't all Black either. How then do you explain all the Obama signs outside in the yards of White people? You are nutz. Currently he is in a tie with McCain.

That might be so but you're proving my point... if in fact black people believe the myth that Democrats are better for them then it seems plausible that they believe the "change myth" as you would call it.

I just hope that If this man gets elected that he finds a better church to attend. I also hope that the he surrounds himself with better people then those that speak at his church. I've been attending church regular for 45 years and Ive never herd a sermon like those and yes I've attended churches of all religous back grounds.

It is the media who is making this a race issue. For me, I've heard him talk about "change", but I haven't heard him discuss any actual plans or hard facts.

The media would call me racist for not voting for someone because I don't know where they really stand on issues.

I think it is the media who is racist.

What will be tragically funny is if McCain gets elected and the country finds itself in a worse position than under Bush. Some people will still find a way to blame Obama.
