Palin brings gender back into dialogue

When Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton dropped out of the presidential race in June, it seemed that gender wouldn't be an issue in the country's most important political contest.

The equal rights quandary hangs over her star;

Mrs. Clinton is the best politician of our time. She should be our president. To compare Mrs.Palin with Mrs. Clinton is an insult as big as is the fact that in USA 2008 she was cowardly treated by media, democrat and republican party all together. All women who voted for Obama and the one will vote for McCain because of Palin are reinforcing man world rules.
It is unbelievable but the US election was and it is a mascaraed!
None of the tow party care about US people or the world situation; they care only about their personal success.

I'd much rather wake up to Palin than Hillary... hell, if I woke up next to Hillary I'd have to kill myself. Palin however would get another shot before I told her to get dressed and go home.

A star is born. She stuck the knife in with a big smile, a kind of 'Make my day' look," said Michael Barone, conservative columnist and editor of "The Almanac of American Politics".

"Forty-four years ago, an actor named Ronald Reagan gave a speech supporting Barry Goldwater and launching his own political career that was known ever after, by his ever increasing group of followers, simply as 'The Speech', wrote Richard Starr in the conservative Weekly Standard.

"If the McCain-Palin team pulls off an upset in two months, the performance we just saw by Governor Sarah Palin will be talked about in the same hushed and reverential tones."

In a column entitled "Welcome Back, Dad", Michael Reagan, adopted son of the late president, wrote: "I saw my Dad reborn; only this time he's a she. And what a she!"

After Mrs Palin, 44 and Alaska governoraccepted the vice-presidential nomination in St Paul with a tub-thumping speech, conservative commentator Larry Kudlow asked whether "we're not witnessing the Western frontier version of Margaret Thatcher".

Hey P Wilson, I am proud to say I lived in Monroe for 25 years, but your knocking remarks against City dwellers is a disgrace. Most people living in the Burbs either grew up in "the City" or their parents/grandparents did; so please cut the crap.

AND MARTY MOOSE don't think that everyone who moved to the Burbs forget their roots, I for one love Bpt. and don't forget what I and my wife owe that Great City. I just reread this post and I thought it might sound sarcastic (believe it is an honest reflection of my feelings.}

Its not about gender. Its about experience.
Experience managing a budget, managing disasters, managing and deploying the military. Biden and Obama have none of that!
Also we finally have a person who have lived life as a middle class family! Blue collar types. The last time that has happened was with Harry Truman.
This is as close as we will get to someone who understands the real working person in america, and the closest this country will come to someone who will truly change things.
Stop listening to the TV newscasters and reading the biased newspapers!
Look up each persons ACTUAL RECORD and see for yourself what they have accomplished. You will be suprised and angered.
Go to senate.gov and go to "voting record" and look up Obama- when he did vote, he voted to raise taxes (income and social security) as well as assist the mortgage companies in bringing down our economy.
Dont blindly cast your vote!!
