Thanks Mike - I don't really care who you are voting for - not that I couldn't deduce who it was based on your previous letters. Glad you took the time to let us all know.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I dis agree. With John McCain trailing in the polls with just about a month left before the November 4th elections will be changing tactics. Instead of talking about issues affecting us all, he'll start attacking Barack Obama's character. A real leader would remain focused on the problems. To be President of the United States, when faced with a problem or like the crisis we're in now, has John McCain shown to be someone who is clear and decisive in meeting the probem head on? This is what he would do if elected President? We need someone who can remain focused, I'm hoping and will remain watching if Barack Obama will remain focused on the issues. If the economy is not mentioned by John McCain between now and November 4th. Why would anyone elect someone into office without first knowing what he'll do as President about the financial crisis? From what I've picked up, there's talk about a long, difficult recession and the stock market can get as low as 8800. Every American needs tough questions answered before we elect a new president.

Barack Obama's character has been getting attacked since he announced his candidacy and people still do not care. Obama will win because the economy is in the tank and the party on who's watch is occurred on pays the price, simple as that, it is the way it goes. People get ready, it'll get worse before it gets better.

Are they kidding???

Here's the quote:
++++++++++
On the war on terror, while Barack Obama would rather sit and talk with terrorist groups, John McCain would continue the surge that has proven to be a success in Iraq and waste no time going after Osama bin Laden and those who attacked us on Sept. 11, 2001.
++++++++

Are they kidding? Where is Osama Bin Laden? If McCain's such a good leader, where's Osama, the guy who took out 3,000 of us Americans?

Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, so if we had only followed Obama's vote against the war, we wouldn't be in Iraq, we wouldn't have to worry about a resurgent Iran, we would have billions of dollars and thousands of our boys and girls lives, we wouldn't be stuck in this forever war.

McCain's had seven years to get Osama as part of his party's administration but Osama seems to keep making those videotapes. If you call that leadership, do us a favor and don't vote!!!

If we followed Obama's vote, we'd would have been in the Afghan-Pakistan border region and would have taken out Osama - and we would have been out of there by now, years ago.

Sure, go ahead and vote for McCain and that idiot he picked, but not me, no thanks, I've had enough of a weakened America. I want to have a leader like Obama who will go after Osama and catch him and bring him to justice and make America strong again.

A vote for Obama/Biden is a vote for America.

How can you vote for McCain if hes going to put in more of the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy when it didn't help the country like he said they would? That's not good leadership, just the opposite.

Warren Buffett is THE person people in Washington and Wall Street listen to so he knows what he's talking about when it comes to economics and business.

Here's what he has to say:

To help pay for the rescue, the government should raise taxes on the wealthy, Mr. Buffett suggested.“I’m paying the lowest tax rate that I’ve ever paid in my life,” he said.“Now, that’s crazy.”

If Buffett's saying this, and McCain is saying that he wants to give people like Buffett more tax cuts, then that's not good leadership from the so-called "maverick."

McCain doesn't think there's anything wrong with the economy, the economy's sound, his top economic adviser tells us we're in a 'mental recession.'

That's good leadership? Can't vote for McCain, bless his heart.

This is God's truth. Osama said he attacked us on 9/11 as he wanted us to get into a war that would cause our economy to collapse, and that's exactly what's going on.

I've voted Bush the last two times, not this time around. I'm no fool. Republicans keep kicking the working man in the nuts, helping out the rich, I'm not falling for their lies again.

People,........I don't normally do this, but it is worth reading:
Do Facts Matter?
()
Recriminations.
()
By Thomas Sowell
()
ABRAHAM LINCOLN said,“You can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all the time, but you can’t fool all the people all the time.”

Unfortunately, the future of this country, as well as the fate of the Western world, depends on how many people can be fooled on Election Day, just a few weeks from now.

Fact Number One: It was liberal Democrats, led by Sen. Christopher Dodd and Congressman Barney Frank, who for years — including the present year — denied that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were taking big risks that could lead to a financial crisis.

FACT: It was Sen. Dodd, Congressman Frank, and other liberal Democrats who for years refused requests from the Bush administration to set up an agency to regulate Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

FACT: It was liberal Democrats, again led by Dodd and Frank, who for years pushed for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to go even further in promoting subprime mortgage loans, which are at the heart of today’s financial crisis.

FACT: Alan Greenspan warned them four years ago. So did the chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers to the president. So did Bush’s secretary of the Treasury, five years ago.

Yet, today, what are we hearing? That it was the Bush administration “right-wing ideology” of “de-regulation” that set the stage for the financial crisis. Do facts matter?

Then there is the question of being against the “greed” of CEOs and for “the people.” Franklin Raines made $90 million while he was head of Fannie Mae and mismanaging that institution into crisis.

Who in Congress defended Franklin Raines? Liberal Democrats, including Maxine Waters and the Congressional Black Caucus, at least one of whom referred to the “lynching” of Raines, as if it was racist to hold him to the same standard as white CEOs.

Even after he was deposed as head of Fannie Mae, Franklin Raines was consulted this year by the Obama campaign for his advice on housing!

FACT: The Washington Post criticized the McCain campaign for calling Raines an adviser to Obama, even though that fact was reported in the Washington Post itself on July 16th. The technicality and the spin here is that Raines is not officially listed as an adviser. But someone who advises is an adviser, whether or not his name appears on a letterhead.
()
FACT: The tie between Barack Obama and Franklin Raines is not all one-way. Obama has been the second-largest recipient of Fannie Mae’s financial contributions, right after Sen. Christopher Dodd.
()
But ties between Obama and Raines? Not if you read the mainstream media.
()
Facts don’t matter much politically if they are not reported.
()
The media alone are not alone in keeping the facts from the public. Republicans, for reasons unknown, don’t seem to know what it is to counterattack. They deserve to lose.
()
But the country does not deserve to be put in the hands of a glib and cocky know-it-all, who has accomplished absolutely NOTHING beyond the advancement of his own career with rhetoric, and who has for years allied himself with a succession of people WHO HAVE OPENLY EXPRESSED THEIR HATRED FOR AMERICA.

Wrking man should know better when someone says they are going to give 95% of the people a tax cut...when 35% don't pay any taxes already. Do the math. He is lying to you...his mouth is moving!

The last couple of years the Democrats have had control of Congress and Dubya has been a lame duck president, yet Obama and his Main Stream Media dump all the blame on Bush w. and McCain.
What if Obama does win and the Democrats still control Congress and this country goes in the tank. Guess who'll they'll blame. You won't have W, McCain or the Republicans to blame. No Pressure.

McCain has been totally OUT-OF-TOUCH!

ECONOMY: A week before he said our economy's fundamentally strong. A week later he called off the debate with the excuse he needed to focus/resolve economy crisis. If John was a rookie in Washington, it's OK. It's unfair to blame on Rookie! The fact is McCain has been in Washington more than 2 decades. Fairly, McCain has proven himself to be out of touch!

NATIONAL SECURITY: all along McCain has tried to link Iraq War to our National Security. Once again, McCain is out-of-touch because he does NOT listen to his own General and people around him

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/761040...

HEALTHCARE: McCain's healthcare - give one hand - take back another hand - is a fool.

Enough is enough. Can't stand another 4 years of Bush docterine!

Last week my brother got laid off. He's a single dad with custody of his four year old and two year old.

He was in the construction industry and construction has slowed down so much that they laid off a bunch of people today. Now he's scared silly about finding another job and being able to keep the apartment he's in. Oh, and he had the health insurance on the kids, so they are now without health coverage. The four year old has asthma.

When I turn on the TV, here's what I see:

McCain and Palin talking about some guy who was in some radical group in the 60s and how Obama knows this guy.

Obama talking about the economy and how much people are hurting.

Hmmm.

Wonder which one has my family's best interests at heart?

By the way, my brother is voting for Obama. But now we hope he can find another job. And soon.

And a great big f you to John McCain. May he rot in hell. He doesn't care and isn't even pretending to care.

Blame game. Writer lists Sen Dodd, Rep. Frank, etc., all Democrats . How about the buck stops with Bush, who has been in the Big House for 8 long years, with 6 of the 8 Republicans controlled both Houses of Congress and the Surpreme Court. " the buck stops there". Bush has had veto power for 8 years and did not use it until this year twice, that's it. Don't try to con us anymore.Frank and Dodd are 2 out of 435 and 100, or 535 representatives. Bush bragged he was the "decider", Take him on his word, which is worth absolutely nothing.
I'll go with Obama-Biden
