I'm not so sure about that but.... enhancements will be coming into play in the very near future , as will exoskeletons and more robotic
devices. Transhumanism is on the horizon and a necessary step in our evolution , we will be force to compete will our own inventions.
The brave new world they have been talking about, it's already here you just haven't realized it yet.

I disagree. Point of evidence:
Christians fight AWFULLY hard to put the 10 commandments in courtrooms and talk about them all the time.
The 10 commandments were NEVER mentioned by Jesus, they are only derived from the old testament. If the old testament was thrown out then why do Christians adhere to the 10 commandment so strongly?
If they follow the 10 commandments they follow the old testament, or they are hypocrites, picking and choosing what they want to follow and what they don't.
I think you have no understood what I said and I see also you made some mistakes.

I never said that the OT was thrown out, also because if it was so then Christians would have kept only the NT in their Bible.

Why do you equate the 10 commandments with the OT. Don't you know that god has given a greater number of commandments than 10? The hebrews counted 613 but I think they are even more.

I don't see them Christians as hypocrites for the reasons said in my previous posts, but yes they pick and choose.

<quoted text>Then what do you think the average lifespan in your family going back 4500 years would or might have been?
See, this is why no one likes you people. You have this "theory", and the second anyone knocks the legs out from under it, you just say it a different way unphased. Basically, this one's over. The assumptions you need to have true in order for this to work aren't true, so it can't work. That's the end, roll the credits.

If you're still confused, watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch...

(granted it doesn't only hit on the population thing, there's also something about debunking some crazy magnetic field nonsense, but about half of it is debunking the very thing you're trying to repeat here)

I'd run you through this myself, but if you won't admit that there's nothing left of your little story here after you take into account basic facts, well... frankly we're not having a discussion at that point.

If you don't understand, I don't blame you. Now hurry along before you are late for that short bus that picks you up. Go ahead. And don't talk to strangers who offer you dog meat.

You're claiming a particle "premeditated" the universe and you're insinuating that I'm stupid?

<quoted text>Saying that we think the average human age is 70 is just using the law of averages. Its kinda like saying you will come up with the number 112 if you add the age you will become this year 2012 with the last two digits of your birth year. It just is.
So, you're saying the average lifespan for the entirety of human existence is 70 years? Do you have any evidence that this is accurate? Or, are you merely making up numbers that result in an equation that leads you to the predetermined answer you already had chosen?

I don't expect you to understand the basics of the numbers involved in getting each one of us here. I will just say the Bible gives the number 70 in reference to this. The numbers start with doubling and reach a half way point and the begin a descent. Most people can not comprehend what God has done just to get each one of us here.

Wrong on all 3 counts.

The bible doesn't say 70, and that number was achieved because if you take the world's population and work backwards to when you think people started breeding after the flood, that's the number you need to make it work. That number was in fact made up by the discovery institute.

As for the third, he apparently just had to be written down and foolish people take it seriously.

What's more likely, that an all powerful thinking being built the entire universe just so some people could worship him on one speck of it, and apparently got bored with it and stopped revealing himself to people... or just like thousands of other books that say similar things, it was a work of fiction? I mean, if you take this serious, why haven't you sent all your money to sponsor Katniss and buy her some more arrows?

I do.

Magic.

Your assertions are so contrary to evidence, magic is the only thing that'll fix it.

That's a lot of words to say, "no, I don't have any evidence for 70 being the average lifespan throughout human existence."

If the Bible mentions multiplying everytime with the number 70 when it is mentioned, then it is reasonable to think this means something.
