I did read the police department wanted Mattingly back - why would I have omitted that? If they wanted him back, why did they release a damaging report? I did not smear the whole town -you asked a question. I gave you a honest opinion, was it the truth? I did not smear the entire police department. I wrote about truths. I know Louisville, though I have never been there, has good/decent police. However, I also know Louisville, though I have never been there, has rogue police too. As far as suing criminals, if your town is offended by their activities - some suggestions. Realize crime is normally not personal so give person a chance to be redeem. If individuals make mistake without the chance of redemption, is crime likely to cease? Like me know how the lawsuits work out?<quoted text>
This is $250 thousand settlement, then deduct the attorney's fees and court cost.
The city and police dept wanted the cop to come back, they apologized. How convenient to leave this out.
The attorney's fee came to over $100 thousand dollars, deduct court fees. This should give the plaintiff a little over $100 thousand.
Wow, you are really trying to find the injustice of a drug dealer, theif, drug addict, killer, etc. while persecuting the entire city of police and tax payers who this family sued.
Where was this family when their son was committing all of these crimes. I believe, the tax payers should be suing the criminals and their families.

THE MESSIAH IS LOSING HIS STEAM:
Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has seen his lead in Massachusetts and across the nation slip precipitously over the past few months, especially with older, more experienced, voters. In June, Obama was ahead of Republican candidate John McCain by 23 percentage points, but this summer, Obama has been virtually bleeding support in the Bay State. He now leads McCain by only 9 percentage points here. Nationally, Obama's lead varies on an almost daily basis. In recent days, he has been tied with McCain, ahead by 3 points and ahead by 1 point. The fluctuating numbers come on the heels of Obama's much-publicized Middle Eastern and European tour, during which he was treated as visiting royalty by most officials while he made the mistake of portraying a potential president as a monarchist. The trip did help Obama's lead, but it didn't last long, particularly once McCain began a weeklong attack on the Democrat's so-called celebrity status. The McCain campaign ran an advertisement comparing Obama to Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. It appears to have hit home with some voters. But the roller-coaster numbers aren't due only to McCain's ads. They are also directly related to Obama's roller-coaster positions on issues. In recent weeks, Obama has changed his positions almost as often as he changes his designer suits. He has switched his stance on oil drilling, suddenly deciding he would be open to limited proposals for offshore drilling. He recently declared he would be willing, after all, to tap the nation's Strategic Petroleum Reserves to lower the price of gasoline. And he has altered his position on withdrawing from Iraq, saying he will listen to advice from ground commanders. Frankly, the Democratic candidate's flip-flops are starting to give voters whiplash. They can't snap their heads back and forth as quickly as Obama can change his stances on crucial issues. But voters' pain may prove to be Obama's loss, if recent polls are any gauge of public opinion. It takes a lot more than a good campaign slogan and a smooth speaking style to win the presidency. Obama may well learn that lesson the hard way. |

That is precisely why I refuse to refer to Blacks in this country as African Americans. Sorry Charlie, but if you were born in this country and have not renounced your citizenship youre an AMERICAN. I personally know many African Americans...they were born in Africa, they legally immigrated here, they are African Americans. Incidentally, alot of them are white. Imagine that....a white African American. This is what I dont get about some of you clowns....we're all brothers. Some are black, some are red, some are yellow, some are white some are brown. What is so f*cking difficult about that concept. We have people on the other side of the world who want to DESTROY us and some of y'all are arguing about how racist the freakin penny is. Jesus H Christ, just how stupid can stupid get. What's it going to take for people to pull their heads out of their ass and realize that only thru unity do we survive as a country. Divided we fall. Another 9-11-01? Peace! |
Yes, I represented the facts but one would need the hindsight to see it. Again, do you condone the killing of a black man by 4 black cops or is this pick and choose? Your spin, not mine. |
|
Now I am practicing racism? How did I deny anyone guarantees in the Constitution? That is what racism is the practice of breaking the law based off of ethnicity. I wrote if the driver does not have insurance, should you be able to sue the bus company? Of course. Therefore, why is that legitimate and the other is racially motivated? Whoever fired the gun should get served. However, the bus company is also going to get served. Start a campaign to shut the bus down. Let me know how it goes? Perhaps, what about the bus drivers? The money? I am not spinning nothing, just giving logical answers. Now your last statement is whoa. I do not think it makes sense to complain or blame Caucasian Americans. In fact, I would have never made Mattingly and Newby a racial issue. I would have focused on legalities. Calm down, we, Africans in America are going to get it. Africans in America are going to understand America one day? By the way, I answered all your questions - can you answer one of my questions? I am not mad - I like this - you stimulated my mind. See truth never has to be spinned, just explained. |

All of that being said WE don't control and proliferate stereotypes(thru media) of the so called other races to deflect blame of our atrocities. Using stats to scare people and the like. I'm a black man and according to your stats I should fear all my Black brethren, when in reality your same stats show I should fear white police officers even more. SV72 OUT!!! |
Double talk. Then if I did not mention about the cop was offered his job back, would you have brought it up? |

1 How about you taking your own advice? Post where I am wrong? I am not a product of America's education system. I am trying to deconstruct their lies. Therefore, I am a product of truths. Thank you for noticing. |

Git R doneare you saying Bin laden driver should only get 5 and a half years. Why is my brother serving his third term fighting a "war on terror" for this sdlap on the wrist? |
|
Again, how was a black thug and drug dealer robbing a cop if he didn't pull his gun from his waisteband? What, used a toothpick? |
|
|
Why are our soldiers fighting a fake war on terror to let an accomplice to Bin laden get a slap on the wrist

1 Now that post was rude. We would agree to go back to our origins, after you agree to go back to your origins? Who are you to question our patriotism - who made you the authority. How about you getting the story correct about your town before suggesting things to others. You do know where you originate from - hint:Caucasian. |
