On the contrary, I'd would like to see Palin use whatever power to seek revenge against Bin Laden and the Muslim countries that killed over 3000 innocent Americans. I'd like to see her take revenge against OPEC that continues to put the screws to our economy and way of life AND is laughing at the financial problems we're having now while they just sit back on their petro-dollars. I'd like to see revenge on the countries that harbor terrorists, revenge on those countries that cry for US aid and then say they hate us, revenge on any country that doesn't like our politics or way of life, but is more than willing to demand food or medical supplies.
Yeah, I wouldn't mind someone like Palin to come in and shake things up, someone who wouldn't be getting into bed with known terrorists like Obama.
The "Bridge to Nowhere and Troopergate" crap is irrelevant and is becoming a whine among the Donkeys seeking to change public perception about Obama's inexperience and lifelong questionable ties.
Oh, a "dirty politician" - look no further than Hillary and William Jefferson for dirty politics.
"dirty politican" list. You are right but don't forget Chris Dodd, Barney Frank AND Obama are also on that list.

Barack Obama is:
O'bama is
1) 50% White
2) 43.75% Arab, and
3) 6.25% Black
This corresponds to a demographic breakdown of his 16 Great-Great-Grandparents as follows: 8 Caucasians, 7 Arabs, and one Black.

I know the truth hurts Democrats - this is what they do when they can never come up with an answer to a question. Now tat you've showed how prejudice Democrats really are, could you please intelligently list one significant legislation that O'bama has accomplished as Senator?
I know that asking you to RESEARCH and actually READ something is way too difficult for your below average IQ to comprehend, but here goes anyway:

It's Smoke and Mirrors, not the other way around.
Thank you for that very important piece of information. Now can you please answer my question - What significant legislation has O'bama done while in the Senate? Or is this not as important?

The real debate I'd like to see:
ALL four candidates on a stage, but in individual sound-proof booths so they can only base their answer on THEIR thoughts and without having heard anyone else's.
The questions I'd like to see asked and answered, NOT talked around, avoided, or refused answered:
1. Please explain the concept of the seperation of church and state and how as Pres/VP, you would protect this right of ALL Americans?
2. Would you be willing to personally go to the home of parents and spouses of those killed in the war to inform them of their death and explain to each and every one of them how their death has been a benefit to the United States of America.
3. Do you support the Supreme Court Decision on Roe V Wade? If not, then would you be willing to see that all ProLife believers be required to adopt at least one child who would have otherwise not been born? If not, would you be willing to see to it that ALL needs of that child are met until age 18? If not, what WOULD your plan be to see that these babies you have forces to be born are taken care of?
4. Have you ever been determined by your own legislative body (US or State Congress) to have done something unethical? If so, how was it you felt you had the right to do as you did? Was anyone professionally or financially hurt by your actions?
5. Did you pick your own middle name?
6. How do we stop teen pregnancy?
7. Have you ever cheated on your spouse and if you have, how did you make it ok to do so in your mind? Would you cheat the American People using the same excuse?
8. Do you believe in killing animals purely for sport? If so, how do you reconcile this in your mind? Do you actually feel good seeing a living creature die at your hands? Does it give you pleasure to bring about the death of an animal, especially a baby one, that you have no intention of utilzing for food?
9. Do you have a child serving in the military? How is it that your child came to join the military? If your child were to perish in the war, whw would YOU want to inform you? If it were possible, would you be willing to allow someone else's child who died to live, while you give yours over to death in this war?
10. Do you have a temper that at times causes you to do and say things that a cooler head wouldn't allow?

Wow, you couldn't be more one sided if you tried.
Funny how you can think of ONLY questions to try and castigate the Republican ticket, but seem to omit any hardball questions for the Democrats - your liberal bias is showing windbag.

It is becoming increasingly clear that this election is not about black white, rich poor, gay straight red or blue but between smart and stupid. I am apalled that anyone could vote republican knowing that this woman could actually have her hand on the nuclear codes. There is no reasoning with the terminally stupid..The fact that your publication would even cover Sarah Palin on anything but the entertainment page is amazing. Gid help us all if the stupid people once again triumph in our country.

Hey McCain backers

I'm still waiting!

Just what is it that McCain/Palin are going to do to improve our country? How are they going to implement and pay for these programs?

After the mud-slinging stops, there isn't much left, now is there?

The silence is deafening.

McCain/Palin will appoint judges that do not attempt to legislate from the bench but instead interpret the constitution with sound minds and hearts. This is one of many important reasons Obama cannot be allowed to hold any public office anymore.

Although I am not an attorney, nor do I play on on TV, there is a well known quote that is taught to all budding lawyers:

"If the facts are on your side, pound on the facts.

If emotion is on your side, pound on the emotion.

If neither is one your side, pound on the table".

That poor table is taking a beating.

<quoted text> Your right I lived in Iran for a His wife has already stated that she has never been proud of the USA. That's why I am voting for McCain/Palin the American choice.
Now I'll tell you how I can identify with this, although I'm sure her reasons are different then mine where when I was finally proud of my country and understand what patriotism was.

I was born in 1959, which mean I grew up in the midst of the Vietnam War and all that meant. It meant nightly body counts on the news. It meant protests by those who were against the war and also the misguided mistreatment of our military when they returned. It meant MIA and POW bracelets, which I wore as a teen.

My growing up years as a child in American were filled with assassinations and Nixon. Race riots and the fears that brought.

I would listen to my parents speak of patriotism and I honestly didn't understand it or feel it.

And then I finally got it. Surprisingly, it was Ronald Reagan who finally gave me that. I remember vividly sitting on my bed watching the dedication of the internment into the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier of a Vietnam War unidentified soldier. It still can bring tears of my eyes to remember it. While Reagan wasn't perfect, there was something about him that let you see his honest, deep, gentle, and sincere love of country. I don't ever remember sensing a hatred of anyone different than himself. Like Bill Clinton, there was a sense that he really did care.

I don't get that feeling in the slightest for McCain. In him I see a desperate 'win at all costs' bitter man. Some of the accounts of his temper are disturbing. His plan to keep us in Iraq for decades to come a horror. His pick for VP dangerous. His lack of a plan and an avid follower of Bush a disaster.

As I sat there watching that dedication, my sense of country washed over me and has never left me. Am I always proud of my country, no. If 'country' is our current President and Vice President, then no, I'm not proud, I'm horrified. If country is the bigotry I see on this message board, no, I'm not proud.

What I am proud about, is that we still have the best form of government in the history of this world. I'm proud that for much of our history, he have been a beacon of hope for others. I'm proud that if they work hard at it, anyone can become anything they want, even a mixed race little boy raised by his grandparents.

I can only imagine what Michelle Obama has encountered as black woman in this county during her life so far. Look at comments just being made here in reference to her race. I can't hold her comment against her, but I sure can understand why she said it and also that it wasn't heard the way it was obviously intended.

I'll take Michelle Obama and the educated, intelligent, useful woman she is, over Cindy McCain, whose shortcomings, which are significant, I won't list.

Is there a lot of competition to be John McCain's #2 person for November?
No, he already has a proctologist.
You might be John McCain if...
Your plan to pay for billions of dollars a year in tax cuts and lowered Medicare premiums consists of rejecting earmarks and going on The Price Is Right.
Why does John McCain only care about uniting the Republican Party instead of uniting the country like Barack Obama?
McCain already got his national unification in during the Civil War.
Why does John McCain want to stop fueling the Strategic Petroleum Reserve even though the military is already at "war" in Iraq?
Strategic reserves are only good when you have a strategy.
Why does John McCain want U.S. troops to spend 100 years in Iraq?
Well, any longer than that and it'd be a significant portion of his life.
Why does John McCain want to stop fueling the Strategic Petroleum Reserve even though the military is already at "war" in Iraq?
He produces more than enough gas after 7:00.
Why do John McCain's budget plans not even call for a year with a balanced budget until after he crosses the male life expectancy?
He's just making a realistic guess for how long it'll take him to learn to use a calculator.
Why does the media call John McCain a maverick?
They're thinking of Maverick, a bad acting job by a right-wing nutcase.
Why does John McCain want to loot the funds for highway maintenance for a shortsighted summer of no gas taxes?
The way he's got the currency heading, nobody will have gas for the highway anyway.
Why does John McCain label his plans to elminate the overwhelmingly upper class-paid AMT "a middle-class tax cut"?
Just wait until you see what the upper-class tax cuts look like.
Why does John McCain's extensive national security experience not include knowing that Sunni Al Qaeda wouldn't be trained in Iran because it's Shiite?
Republicans are taught not to learn naughty words like that.
Why does John McCain "straight talk" consists of trying to have it censored if someone labels his very pro-"war" candidacy as him being a "warmonger"?
He's fine with the straight talk, just not the big words.

Interpret the Constitution? A document that has been in effect for over 200 years that no one needed to "intrepret" until Bush/Cheney got ahold of it?

How lame! Appointing judges who support your idelogical belifs is so far down the list of problems in our country that it isn't even on the map. If you are speaking of abortion, and I suspect you are, get over it. Roe v Wade set the law. The majority in this country feel it is still the correct decision and will stay in effect. No amount of Bible thumping will change that.

Perhaps you would like to stand in front of the mirror and practice saying "President Obama". Narrow platforms don't win national elections.

You may not think there's anything funny about a moose hunting hockey mom running for vice president, but comedians are having a field day writing jokes about the best target for political humor since the potato misspelling Dan Quayle. For your laughing pleasure, here are the funniest, cleanest and best Sarah Palin jokes:

(Updated October 9, 2008 to include jokes about the vice presidential debate, Katie Couric interview fiasco and Tina Fey impersonation on SNL)

"She said at her church, Governor Palin, said she asked everyone to pray for a natural gas pipeline, which she said was God's will. And today, God said,'Hey lady, I don't deal with oil companies. That's more Satan's area.'" -Jay Leno

"In Boca Raton, Florida, yesterday, a woman who looked like Sarah Palin caused a near riot when she walked into a diner for breakfast. And after a minute or two, people finally realized it wasn't her when she started answering questions." --Jay Leno

"Are you excited about Sarah Palin? Well, yesterday she referred to Afghanistan as our neighboring country. Apparently, she can see bin Laden's cave from her house." --David Letterman

"During the debate the other night, the moderator asked Sarah Palin to describe her Achilles heel, but instead of talking about her biggest weakness, she talked about her greatest strength, which apparently is not answering questions." --Jay Leno

"Of course, the most controversial thing Sarah Palin said last night was she felt the vice president should have more power. More power? Dick Cheney is shooting people in the face and doesn't even get arrested. You cannot get any more powerful than that." --Jay Leno

"During the debate, Palin winked, wrinkled her nose, and gave a shout-out to a third-grade class. Well, you know, that says commander-in-chief to me right there. You betcha!" --David Letterman

"She kept reaching out to Joe Sixpack. That's because her answers make more sense after six beers." --David Letterman
Just looking for answers
