Sen. Lieberman now seems intent on making his constituents pay for their disloyalty. How does this help Connecticut? How does this help him?

1 I thought that elections were about the will of the people, not the party. Lamont's the loser, since Lieberman WON the election. It's called Democracy. |

2 He should have stated from the start that if he lost the primary he would run as an independent. He did not. He waited until he lost the primary. It is all about Joe being in office, not about the people he represents. |

2 This is true, where state is the State of Israel not Connecticut. |

1 Thank you the abusive language. It speaks volumes about you. I do not believe Joe "represents" me. I just see someone who is in office to fulfill his own needs. I do not agree with the way he conducted himself with regards to the primary but that has nothing to do with my disagreement of how he attempts to do his job. When is that last time he spoke to issues in Connecticut? He has been to busy campaigning for someone else. |

1 Right, good thought, I hope Ned runs and keeps running until he is in Florida. He got whipped here by a scab and hasn't stopped crying since. |
|
I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. Should all primary candidates state that they will run as a primary/write in candidate, or just this one? And, do you know. did he runa as an idependent or a write -in? I don't remember, but I do believe that he is now a registered dem. |

1 Ned bought the primary but couldn't buy the election. The disloyalty wasn't from his constituents that elected him. It was from his Democratic buddies who wanted to reward Ned's deep pockets with Joe's senate seat. |

1 Ned doesn't win elections. He buys them. Or, in the 2006 Senate race he spent nearly $13,000,000.00 of his own money trying to buy the election. |
