We already have customs such as 'common law' marriage. When same sex marriage law meets common law, we'll see more new social problems than you can possibly imagine.

Love is just a word to justify policy, not a way to treat others. Praise, generosity/gratitude and courage don't exist in their universe. A man has the right to marry a woman, a woman should have that same right. A woman has the right to marry a man, a man should have that same right. Now, explain how gay marriage would lead to more prison rape.(Talk about an argument based on hate...) Would a guy in prison see photos from Elton John's wedding then decide, "Guess I'll go rape someone!"?
