A breakdown in democracy?

They never were [entrusted to a majority], you turkey. This is a REPUBLIC (or it was supposed to be), NOT a democracy. There's a difference. It's why we elect representatives but don't vote on making laws. Thank God.

Evidently ol' Frank takes his comics pretty seriously! Nice to see that he voted for SOMEthing, even if it was only something as harmless and trivial as the comic page of a local newspaper. I wrote this letter tongue in cheek. The comics section is the one section of the paper I look forward to reading every day. It concerned me that any comic had to be cut, but I do understand the constraints of business. What bothered me most was after the vote was tabulated the comics that remained were the ones I found least interesting. Oh, by the way, I did graduate fifth grade. I have my moving up certificate to prove it.

Stop being a total idiot, you Clod. If you had actually completed 5th grade you would know we are supposed to have a "representative democracy." The theory is the PEOPLE elect representatives who then REPRESENT them in the judicial and legislative branches. But, ya know, only in theory.
