C'mon now, the children's parent now expect a free breakfast, lunch, and do they get a free dinner for junior at school? You really can't expect the parent to buy groceries with the food stamps can you, for crying out loud. What would make you think such a thing. You can only expect so much now. But go out to any kids pizza/ game restaurant and the little rug rats have their tokens....:-) Does the country have a debt, what does that mean, who cares, we have our President in there, everything is perfect and free...

That would be a start, and cut off their WII accounts, and confiscate their playstation 3's and make their mommy buy beans and rice instead of ding dongs and ho-ho's. Have you seen these kids, they are a little chubby?

I'm actually doing better than I was before Obama took office. I've been able to recovery losses from the crash at the end of Bush's presidency.
Raising the tax on the wealthiest Americans (by less than 1.7%) would have indeed reduced the deficit substantially, as Obama said he would do if elected. Key word: ELECTED. As it still is, over 74%(including republicans) agree that the wealthy should pay a proportionality fair tax rate.
It's a key component of this budget proposal as well.
This is widely agreed upon.
John Bartlett worked for Ron Paul, then on the House Banking Committee. He worked with Jack Kemp and helped draft the Kemp-Roth Tax Bill. Worked for Reagan's finance committee..and was GHWB's senior economic analyst and budget director.
He wrote "Bartlett's Bible Quotations" which I've owned for a long time.
He's been pretty much disowned by the Norquist GOP..even though his writings on the economy are widely recognized and respected.
I recommend you read Bartlett's "Benefit and the Burden." He's a republican who speaks the truth about the economy..and what it will take to fix it.
You do propaganda so well. Media Matters perhaps.......

Founded by Brock in 2004 as a liberal counterweight to “conservative misinformation” in the press, Media Matters has in less than a decade become a powerful player in Democratic politics. The group operates in regular coordination with the highest levels of the Obama White House, as well as with members of Congress and progressive groups around the country. Brock, who collected over $250,000 in salary from Media Matters in 2010, has himself become a major fundraiser on the left. According to an internal memo obtained by TheDC, Media Matters intends to spend nearly $20 million in 2012 to influence news coverage.

Donors have every reason to expect success, as the group’s effect on many news organizations has already been profound.“We were pretty much writing their prime time,” a former Media Matters employee said of the cable channel MSNBC.“But then virtually all the mainstream media was using our stuff.”

The article is worth reading to the end.

"Atlas Shrugged" - a much better read by Ayn Rand. It describes what's happening now with liberal fascist and their attempts to ram socialism down our throats.

"Atlas" is great. "Fountainhead" outlines the diabolical effort of those who prefer mediocity to excellence. Very "progressive".

You should try Gothic Politics in the Deep South: by Robert Sherrill. It was written in the late sixties but is still timely.

To a progressive liberal agenda that Obama follows, I am sure it is...... but his favorite read though is Rules for Radicals by Saul Alinsky. He actually taught this in Chicago when working for Acorn. Being from Chicago not the deep south of old, gives you a whole new perspective on the progressives, here in Crook County. They have dismantled Illinois with 130 billion dollars in debt along with the big unfunded public unions pensions having a never ending thirst for the taxpayers money here...

Any one who was intellectually curious enough to study Vlad Lenins Soviet Union thoroughly understands both the Progressive motives and the tragic out come of Govt by the elite Central Planning types.

Media Matters has nothing to do with it.

I referenced republican John Bartlett as an example.

So you think Bartlett is somehow not credible? He was an economic saint when he worked for the conservatives. The rebuplicans are chastising him because he speaks out against Norquist and the plutocrats.

Rules for radicals is required reading at Koch Brothers Freedom Works. Their favorite part seems to be "tell a lie and then keep repeating it".
