John Bartlett worked for Ron Paul, then on the House Banking Committee. He worked with Jack Kemp and helped draft the Kemp-Roth Tax Bill. Worked for Reagan's finance committee..and was GHWB's senior economic analyst and budget director.
He wrote "Bartlett's Bible Quotations" which I've owned for a long time.
He's been pretty much disowned by the Norquist GOP..even though his writings on the economy are widely recognized and respected.
I recommend you read Bartlett's "Benefit and the Burden." He's a republican who speaks the truth about the economy..and what it will take to fix it.
