this is hilarious... he is ABSOLUTELY TYPICAL when one considers his political actions and ideology (the stuff that counts). He has zero understanding of economics, he believes government (and thus himself) to be a god whom citizens exist to serve, and he is a warmonger just like mccain. he's not taking anyone out of iraq, and he's already flipped over to the 'bomb iran, worship israel" cult. he is white establishment politics as usual. otherwise he would not be the nominee - protect govt and special interests, major donors, and wall street at the expense of the middle and lower class taxpayers... bomb anything that moves... and thinks of the taxpayers and the rest of the world as slaves who exist to serve him... stubborn and bothersome subjects, who need to be controlled and manipulated for their own good. typical disgusting evil politician. he was even a coke addict... jesus how much more typical can you get?

Well, Obama's politics are not that different from other liberel black politicans in this country. Or white liberals, for that matter.

And isn't that what is supposed to mean something in this country - as we vote for someone to captain this ship called the USA (some might call it the Titanic)?

When I board an airplane - I was a pilot with lots and lots of experience; not one whose parents were of mixed race and perhaps he grew up poor.

Barack Obama is just another politician.

By the way, the liberals have to get past this type of garbage. You can't have it both ways! You blame conservatives for making race a part of this poltical season, then you write an article like this...about race! Am I the only one that sees the hypocracy in this???

He has gotten this far because The Trilateral Commission wants him in office. Then our country will be ripe to become a part of, not lead mind you, a One World Government. Our dollar will devalue more, forcing our hand and Obama will smile while our nation is raped. He has said one thing correctly, we will change, only we will not like the outcome, but by then it will be too late.

They need to raid the Sunpapers for drugs.

Like him, hate him, or don't care, the man is not unique.

The Bush-Clinton regimes during the last 30 years are responsible for the conditions that we now find ourselves in. The trade agreements that short change Americans; outsourcing jobs and contracts; selling our assets to foreigners; H-1 Visas to take middle class jobs from Americans for everything that can't be out-sourced; for jobs that can't be moved to foreign countries, they have created conditions that allow illegal labor to take over complete industries within the country like construction and other industries that require little training; over-spending and borrowing money from China or anyone else who will loan us money... little wonder there are no jobs here for Americans, the dollar is of little value, and soon the raping of America will be complete.

Can Obama stop it? I don't know. but it is clear there is no hope for us with the Republicans.

And this makes Obama unlike anyone ever seen before in politics exactly how?

If you think the situation the country finds itself in today is unique, you haven't studied much history.

I think you'll see what makes him unique if you are crazy enough to vote for him. Before his first term is up, he'll bring the U.S. to its knees, financially, and socially. Taxes will rival Sweden's. Child molestors will be given community service instead of prison time. Euthanizing the elderly will be his answer to fixing Social Security. The man is pure evil, but nobody can see it.

What happened to not judging people based on the color of their skin? The first paragraphs in this article speak only to Obama's genetic background... Somewhere, Dr. King is shaking his head.

Another thing that sets him apart and causes angst for the entire political spectrum is his lack of adherence to any knee-jerk ideology. For instance, he agreed to the recent FISA law, not because it let the TELECOMS of the hook (rankling every knee-jerk, revenge-minded liberal), but because it re-instated the FISA court process, effectively disabling the illuicit role of TELECOMS. Political revenge can wait. First he wanted to take care of the business of FISA's role. And he was right. It's this unpredictability that is both his strength as a leader and his vulnerability in terms of fitting neatly into the ideologies of group thinkers who sway elections - through voting and influence peddling. We need his leadership NOW!

I do not judge him on the color of his skin. Only his chutzpah for thinking 1/2 term as Senator is going to inspire me to vote for him.

McCain may have issues, but Jeez kid, do something, accomplish something before running for President. Finish your term, Run a State, Hold a cabinet position, run a union, a company, a banana republic. Sink a PT boat, crash a Navy bomber, become an ambassador.

Don't serve as a junior senator for three years and tell me you know what you're doing. You don't.

For anyone who really wants to know Mr. Obama I reccommend reading his book, AUDACITY OF HOPE. It will give the reader a lot of insight into who he is and what he believes.

The more I see weird-ass and easily debunked conspiracies posted about Obama by people who are generally often pretty rude and hateful, the more I like the guy.
