While you weren't looking at 4:39 pm on Friday.....

By DONOVAN SLACK |
6/29/12 5:36 PM EDT

The White House released its annual report to Congress on staff salaries. At 4:39 p.m. on Friday.

A quick review found the White House payroll appears to have grown since last year, going from $37.1 million in 2011 to $37.8 million in 2012. The number of employees listed also grew -- from 454 last year to 468 in 2012.

So much for the millions Obama's has put out of work, and especially the 878,000 women that have lost their jobs since he was sworn in.

Obamacare Starts Rationing: No More early Detection

By Otis Brawley,
Special to CNN
2012

(CNN)-- Q: The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force is releasing new guidelines on cervical cancer screenings. What's changed?

A: In the 1930s, cervical cancer was the deadliest women's cancer in America. At that time, it killed more women each year than breast or lung cancer.

But over the past 80 years, there has been a tremendous decline in the death rate from cervical cancer because of improvements in treatment and screening. Today, death from cervical cancer is relatively rare in the U.S.

In 2009, about 4,000 American women died of cancer of the cervix. A review of the medical history of these women showed that the overwhelming majority had never had cervical cancer screening, and most who did were screened more than 10 years before diagnosis.

This week, the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force is announcing new recommendations for Pap tests to screen women for cervical cancer. The new guidelines advise women to reduce the number of tests they receive over their lifetime.

Most surprising of these recommendations is that women under age 21 should not be tested.

The Obama task force has also recommended that women over 21 undergo a Pap test screening every three years, instead of annually.

Obamacare = More Cancer Deaths!

What Filth!

Clinton?

Here's Bill Clinton's 2000 Budget:$1.7 Trillion
Here's Idiot Obama's 2010 Budget:$3.7 Trillion

That's a $2 Trillion Increase! Obama's increasing the Debt by over $1 Trillion Annually. Let's go back to the 2000 Budget when No One Starved and the Dems claim there was a Surplus!

Obamacare will Kill: Health Care Rationing Obama Believes In

By Nat Hentoff
July 12, 2010

As a reporter, I do not use euphemisms - such as calling murderous terrorists "militants" or "activists." And as an American, I can exercise my First Amendment right to say plainly that President Obama is a liar with regard to our new health-care law, often referred to as Obamacare.

When a number of critics of Obamacare, including myself, warned that it would bring the rationing of treatments, medications and research into new procedures, the president said to the American Medical Association (June 15, 2009) that this rationing charge was a "fear tactic."

The next month, he said flat out: "I don't believe that government can or should run health care" (firstthings.com , May 31, 2010).

But in May of this year, the president nominated Dr. Donald Berwick, a professor at Harvard Medical School, to head Health and Human Services' Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)- the most powerful health-care position. As Hal Scherz underlines (RealClearPolitics.com , May 26): "CMS covers over 100 million Americans, has an annual $800 billion budget that is larger than the Defense Department's and is the second-largest insurance company in the world."

Unlike Obama, Berwick is enthusiastically, openly candid in his support of Britain's socialistic National Health Service. In a 2008 speech to British physicians, our new health czar said: "I am romantic about National Health Service. I love it (because it is)'generous, hopeful, confident, joyous and just.'"

That "just" National Health Care Service decides which care can be too costly for the government to pay. Its real-time decider of life-or-death outcomes is the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE). Here is how "nicely" it works, described by Michael Tanner, senior fellow and health-care expert at the Cato Institute (where I, too, am a senior fellow):

"It acts as a comparative-effectiveness tool for the National Health Care Service, comparing various treatments and determining whether the benefits the patients receives - SUCH AS PROLONGED LIFE - are cost-efficient for the government" (lifenews.com , May 27).

So listen to our very own decider of how the Obama administration will lower our national debt by cutting inefficient health-care costs. After declaring his ardent romantic attachment to the British system, Berwick said: "All I need to do to rediscover the romance is to look at health care in my own country." He will, of course, be too busy to attend the funerals of the sacrificial Americans whose lives - not only those of the elderly - may thereby be cut short.

You are representing Union members and the politicians whose families got an exemption from the ACA and won't suffer.

You are only a greedy steaming pile of Pelosi.

Most middle class Dem families will suffer dramatically reduced quality and availability of Health Care in addition to the burden of the 22 new taxes outlined in the ACA.

You are not expected to give a crap about anyone but yourself. It's a Union thing.

(D) Ed Rendell: ObamaCare’s “an albatross around our neck”

Former Democratic governor of Pennsylvania Ed Rendell has repeatedly roused the ire of the Democratic establishment in the past couple of months — and I think this one probably isn’t quite what Team Obama is hoping for here, either. As far as I can tell, they’d like nothing better than to not have to stand and defend the ruling:

I most indubitably agree that ObamaCare is going to be an albatross around Team Obama’s neck, no matter how they handle it — there’s still that little “the majority of Americans have hated the very idea of this whole thing since day one” problem, and the Supreme Court upheld the individual mandate as a tax… after President Obama promised it wouldn’t be a tax. Obama himself said yesterday that he’s rather not revisit yesterday’s political battles and he’d really prefer to just move “forward”— it’s such taxing press (see what I did there?), they’d actually rather talk about the economy.

Just as an example of one indicator, Mitt Romney raised $4 million dollars in less than 24 hours following the Supreme Court’s ruling on Thursday. President Obama, on the other hand, raised… wait, has anybody been able to get those numbers yet? Anyone?

You Koch-sucking BALD FACED LIAR. Spreading your BALD FACED LIES.

From Snopes: Did members of Congress try to exempt themselves from current health care reform legislation?

"NO. This claim was based on the erroneous assumption that congressional efforts to establish a "public option" for health insurance would have required everyone (except members of Congress) to participate in a new federal insurance plan. The proposed legislation would merely have required everyone (including members of Congress) to have health insurance that met minimum benefit standards, and to that end called for the creation of insurance exchanges which would offer health insurance plans to those who could not otherwise afford insurance plans meeting the minimum benefits criteria.

"In fact, the final version of the health care reform legislation that was eventually passed in March 2010 stated that "Members of Congress and congressional staff" will only have access to plans that are created by the health care bill or offered through the exchanges established by the bill:" ...... http://www.snopes.com/politics/medical/28tham ...

On page 157 of the Democrats' health bill that President Obama signed into law on Tuesday, March 23rd, a provision curiously exempted the President, Vice President and Executive Branch appointees from participation in the new exchanges.

WHY IS the Scumbag Obama, Joe Biden and all their Appointees EXEMPT from the Tyranny of Obamacare?

Your mind is razor sharp today, making it easy to reach decisions and put your thoughts into words. Make the most of this articulate and brainy phase, especially if that means taking part in a discussion or putting your ideas down on paper. If you need to defend your opinions you'll manage to do so without sounding aggressive or dictatorial.
