I am really surprised at how angry Obama supporters are. Anyone that questions his background, companionships, or alliances is called names and usually labeled a racist. With that said you seem to feel that Hillary Clinton should somehow be held to a higher standard. I truly wanted to vote for this man but I have some grave concerns and I can tell you in all honesty I am not a racist. I love how the Obama camp keeps bringing up the fact that he did not vote for the war. Your right about that but you do not mention that he was not in any position to vote for the war one way or other. Also, to say he made a speech against the war is correct he did but with that said my next question would be did he have all the facts that was being presented to the senate when they were asked the same question. If not then I find it hard to believe he really knows what his vote would be that is if he decided to vote at all. It also strikes me funny that you say that Hillary Clinton supported the war but now becaue she is runnin for president she has changed her mind. You're correct but I myself know that I have made decsions in my life given the information that I had at the time that I know now that I would have not made the same deciion today. If anyone reading this has never done that then you are someone that should be thinking of running for office. I don't know who I will vote for this year but it will be for someone that I feel truly has this great nation's best interest at heart and truly believes this is a great nation even with all the baggage that it brings along with it through out the decades. Mr. Obama does not walk on water, he is not the second coming and he is human and has also made bad decisions in his life and they are just as relevant as the other two candidates that are also running. Please remember that this is a race for the highest office in the land and not just a popularity contest. We all have skeletons in our closets and if anyone of us were to be running for office what would people be saying about us. Please do not take this as a attack on anyone or anyones right to say anything they want. It is just a observation I had and decided to share.
This is about the most sensible comment I have seen on here in days, refreshing.
I share your sentiments. In the beginning, I was so excited... it was win win, with any of the dem candidates. I was excited about Obama and Clinton mostly.
But these Obama supporters and their hate, added with what has come out lately about Obama, I really do not think I can vote for him if he gets the nomination. He clearly lied and is clearly a hypocrite.
Furthermore, I know he can't win the general now. Can you imagine the swiftboating that is to come? Rev Wright says one of his gems, Barack in another clip coming out against divisive politics, another clip of the lovely Michelle not being proud of her country...on and on and on.
Middle America will not vote him in. And I am not sure I can either, though the other choice is pretty scary too.

Hey, I actually found an instance where Hillary brought some jobs to NY...

...The company, which called the arrangement Clinton's "brainchild," says "about 10" employees work here. Tata says most of the new employees were hired from around Buffalo. Apple falls closer to the tree or shall we say that the lying parents are doing a good job teaching their child how to fabricate to get votes.

March 27, 2008 4:02 PM
by Domenico Montanaro
From NBC/NJ's Matthew Berger

BENSALEM, Pa.-- Chelsea Clinton mistakenly said President Bush had not toured the Middle East as president before arriving there earlier this year.

Speaking at a retirement community outside of Philadelphia, the former first daughter suggested Bush had not been as engaged in the Middle East as previous Commanders-In-Chief, comparing his work to President Clinton’s in Northern Ireland.

“President Bush was in the Middle East last month, and its great that he was there, but that was his first trip there as president,” she said at the Wood River Village Assisted Living Center.“He’d visited our men in northern Iraq before but he’d never been to Israel; he’d never been to Jordan, he’d never been to Saudi Arabia or Egypt; he just hadn’t been.”

Bush in fact traveled to Egypt, Jordan and Qatar in 2003, and was in Jordan again in 2006. His trip in January 2008 was his first to Israel.

She spoke for more than an hour at the retirement home, addressing a wide range of issues, including healthcare, immigration and stem cell research.

Chelsea Clinton is making her first independent appearances since being asked earlier this week about the Monica Lewinsky scandal at a college town hall meeting. She will attend several events in the Philadelphia area Thursday and will speak in Allentown and Bethlehem on Friday.

*** UPDATE *** She just made the same comments about President Bush's Middle East travel while speaking at West Chester University.

Great job! Now let's keep it honest- show us how many jobs Obama brought to Illinois while in the state senate OR US senate. Happy hunting...

Did he make a campaign promise to bring 200,000 jobs to IL?
No.

Since he didn't, there's nothing to research.

Hillary's watch netted a 30,000 job loss to the area.

Some it due to outsourcing from this very company that employed 10 people. Sad. Busted again.

Actually, I've more than just FOX News as a source for information from the outside world. I can only assume life on the farm to be thoroughly frustrating as provincialism has never been a hinderance to my life. I've seen the world beyond the cornfields.

Hillary has yet to address anything other than her disdain for Barack Obama. This is fact. However, abnormal psychology can be rather fascinating at times. If you'd allow me to peer inside the twisted mind of a muckish hayseed from the forgotten parts of the country by offering Hillary's take on the topics listed, I'd be much obliged for the entertainment.

"Senator Clinton has a pretty hard time squaring her rhetoric on economic issues with her record in the Senate," Nehring said.

"Time and again, Senator Clinton contradicts herself when what she promises on the campaign trail collides with what she's actually done in office.

"How can Californians trust a candidate who talks about fiscal responsibility in front of one audience, and proposes $800 billion in new spending in front of another?

Whatever happened to Senator Clinton's campaign promise to create 200,000 new jobs in New York, or to bring broadband Internet access to rural areas, improve job training, and provide tax cut for business in areas with lagging economies?

In California's high-tech economy, we recognize Senator Clinton's campaign promises on the economy for what they are: vaporware."

Tim Russert (a Buffalo guy, too) asked Hillary about her Senate campaign promise to bring 200,000 jobs to Upstate NY. The reality is a 32,000 job loss for the area as well as a large loss of population. Hillary answered by saying that she could not fulfill her promise because Gore did not get elected President and there was not a Democratic Congress.
She said there were not people who believed and thought the way she did so she could not help bring the jobs.

Is this the same person who claims to be able to get things done in Washington?

The one with all the experience getting things done?

Is she only going to be able to get things done when she is surrounded by ‘Yes Men’?

Or will she blame ineffectiveness on the fact that other people have different opinions?

If she can only get things done in a best case scenario situation then she is going to be sh-t out of luck as President.

BTW - the best case scenario didn't work for her either. Her health care initiative failed miserable too when husband was president and Congress full of Democrats.

To quote the wisdom of ages:“Who is the bigger fool. the fool or the fool who follows them?”

I know this is a difficult concept for you to grasp, but Hillary and Bill are 2 individual people. She had reservations about NAFTA and spoke out about it at the time, but what could she do? Publicly come out against her husband, the president?
At least she is not running to Canada saying, no worries, just pandering again.
