But Mr Romney also said that he left Bain before it closed the huge steel mill, and shipped the machinery & jobs overseas; and then we found out he was still CEO & President. Why should we believe Romney again?

I'd like to know what "income" Romney paid 13% on. Was it just on his 'speakers' fees?'

Romney makes hunndreds of millions/year. Is that being counted as "income?"

Neither Romney not Reid are willing to back up their statements with documentation. It all sounds like political mud slinging to me.

Harry or Mitt, where is the proof?

... not hundreds of millions; it was a little over $21 million in 2010, and he paid a little over $3 million in income tax. Stop the lying, William; stop the envy; stop the classism; stop the racism... stop... stop.

I pay about 25% as well, but after standard deductions (I don't itemize deductions) my effective income tax rate is about 14% after refund.

What's your rate after refund of overpayment?

Romney has proven himself to be a pathological liar. It's no longer about what he paid or did not pay in taxes. It has become a question of what his secrecy says about his character, and raises a legitimate question about whether he is a person deserving to be president.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Libra

Look after yourself today, dear Libra, because you don't have as much energy and self-confidence as usual. In fact, your spirits may be trailing around your ankles, making you feel wretched and listless. A pessimistic mood certainly won't help you cheer up, and you may be feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities or other people's problems. The fact is that you've got things out of proportion, but you'll feel better about them soon.
