But once you see the damage umm change Mr Ego brings you will soon realize you got a good deal.
Mason County is currently under investigation by OEA so it surprises me anyone would hire him. Then again, I guess the Newport board is short on members.

This is a good first move. Phase II would be finding someone to unload the Superintendent on! We can only hope...

I am ready for a new beginning. Hopefully the board set us up for a fresh outlook, now should be the time for positive thoughts. Let's see how it plays out. Go Wildcats

It doesn't go into any details about Mr. Middleton. I've emailed the director of the OEA to see if he's still under investigation or if he's been cleared - waiting to hear back on that, but I anticipate they won't be able to comment.
Why do you care SOOOOOO much? If you cared you wouldn't be on this dirt box.

Mr. Middleton is one of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. You need to get your facts straight. The facts are this district is booming both academically and financially, look at the schools and the materials in the buildings, they are very different from what you would find in the surrounding schools. Mr. Middleton will without a doubt make a positive impact on Newport's schools, you will be very lucky to have him. Mr. Middleton puts one hundred percent of himself into everything that he does and is very passionate about education and achieving success. Leave him alone, you will regret your words, just wait and see! I guarantee you Mason Co. is the one losing here, we are losing a great guy who can really make great progress happen! I am happy for Mr. Middleton and I wish him and all of his family nothing but the best, as should everyone on here trash talking! Shame on you trash talkers!

It is really a shame that Mr. Middleton isn't even here yet and most of you already have decided that he is no good. You can't wait to spread rumors and say negative things about him. Why don't you try to be positive for a change and give him a chance. I read the article and I really don't see much to it. I am looking forward to Mr. Middleton coming to Newport. I welcome him with the hope that this is the fresh start that we need.

Well i doubt you really meet with him when he is NOT married, He lives with Kim Setty and he was a big part of breaking up both marriages. His first and only wife so far is an Outstanding Christrian lady and did not deserve what he did to her. So i guess if u want a superintendent who is a home wrecker and is the boss of his live in girlfriend, He is your man...
ok yes i did he and his girlfriend was walking around meeting parents i took a pic with him

What you do as the head of a school system does matter. You are never off duty. Morals, ethics and standards are at the top.

You may have read the article in the NKY Enquirer about reading scores, and the big drop in Newport 3rd Grade Reading proficiency score. Dropping from 64% proficient to 50% in the last year.

So this year he makes $170,000, next year he makes $170,000 * the percent of third graders that can read proficiently.

Bet that would make him motivated to get things moving in the right direction at the Primary School.

Thought paying all those coaches and reading specialists at primary school was supposed to improve things. More proof Brandts fudged up legacy still exists. Get rid of the waste product teachers who coach the kids at the primary school and invest that money in work that produces results.
