Was not that long ago that it was conservative Christians that where boycotting Target because of Target's support of Pro Choice groups and positions.

Actually, it's not just about Democrat versus Republicans, it's more like the Powerful Big-Business versus the People!
1. Big-Business is enjoying Big Bush Taxcut right now
2. "Big Bush Taxcut" is adding a
Heavy Burden to Government Big-Deficit everyday
3. While "Big-Deficit" is our #1 problem, GOP wants to EXTEND "Big Bush Taxcut" for Big-Business
4. Because of "Big Bush Taxcut," Big-Business get to keep huge profits, allowing them to hog a lot of cash, and not hiring Americans
5. Greedy GOP vote to block "Little People" from collecting Extended Unemployment Benefits (insurance claims) because of Deficit concerns, while GOP crooks are clamoring for an Extension of "Big Bush Taxcut" for Big Business.
It's important to note that "Big Bush Taxcut" is much more toxic to our National Debt and Budget Deficit than Unemployment Benefits for the People!
GOP Crooks fight against the interest of the American Working Class!
Socialist thinking.

Exxon paid $30 billion in US income taxes in 2007 under George Bush
Exxon paid zero income tax to the USA in 2009 under the socialist Obama

You idiots think you can just confiscate all the profits from someone elses work ... and they will just let you?

We have lost hundreds of billions by taxing and regulationg too much ... and forcing companies to move elsewhere .... and then you socialists scream that is big business's fault!
How many more businesses and jobs will the USA lose with socialist progressive politicians in charge? There aren't many left.

Abortion is still legal. Those groups are still legal. Target also makes contributions to all the local schools. If you register your school a certain amount of sales in that school district goes back to the communities.Their products are of superior quality, and their prices are good. Why, then would I boycott them to appease some political flunkies? I wouldn't

It looks like only three branches of government work for big business. The executive branch, the legislative branch and the judicial branch.

Paying a fair share in taxes is not "CONFISCATING!"

. We, the People, physically work for those companies

We, the People, send our children overseas to fight wars in order to provide security for those companies

As a Country, we provide a secure atmosphere for those companies to compete freely.

They can find $150,000 to pay Politicians for access and unfair competition, but won't pay their fair share in taxes?

Yes, they have to pay their fair share in taxes like everybody else!

In my view, Target has every right to support whoever
they want. If it is ok for the unions to give large amounts of money to politicians, then it is ok for Target, no?
My suggestion would be for every one to be on a level playing field. Either all or none.
I totally agree and really appreciate the info. I for one will no longer shop at Target or any of its affiliated stores like Macy's.

I have no problem with Target giving money to Republicans. I just want to make sure that money isn't MINE. I encourage everyone to do the same.

Target is also doing business with Disney.

For more companies to boycott, see the following:

Put you money where your mouth is. Sad to say, but Target is NO BETTER than Walmart.

under 40% is out of existence?

Check our history; we used to pay up to 90% of our income in taxes under Republican Regimes!

GOP crooks are lying. They lie because they rely on Big-business for their Political contribution.

Target appeals to the more intelligent customers, it contributes to many charities and it is an asset to the community. That is why some people hate it.

Really ... 90% of our income in taxes under GOP. Have a source for that?

By the way .. watch what happens to YOUR paycheck when the Bush Tax Cuts expire.
