No surprise that the massively overfunded, bloated, and mercenary military support the guys who will waste even MORE money on them while continuing to send them off to die senselessly.

No one said you had to be that bright to wear a uniform.

Classy - this comment shows the true face of Obama's base of support. I'm not talking about everyone who supports Obama - I'm referring to the core group of mean-spirited left-wingers Obama will turn to to try to get re-elected, even if it alienates his more reasonable supporters.

Another mean-spirited, anti-military comment from (I'm assuming)an Obama supporter - are you catching this, undecided/independent voters?

From the article: "University of Virginia Center for Politics Director Larry Sabato says veterans typically swing Republican. "A lot of these veterans are over the age of 60, many are over 70 and even 80 years old, and they're overwhelmingly white males, for the most part. Well that is the strongest group for Republicans," said Sabato.'

What Sabato failed to say is a lot of them will be dead by November.

Make that a CHICKENHWAK:
: MITT ROMNEY IS A WAR MONGERING DRAFT-DODGER
[Snip] In 1966 Mitt Romney briefly attended Stanford University in California. It was a tumultuous time when the Vietnam war was stirring up dissent among America’s youth and a vibrant peace movement was growing. Mitt Romney, however, would have none of that. He was a staunch defender of the war. THE PHOTO - HTTP://WWW.NEWSCORPSE.COM/NCWP/... - SHOWS ROMNEY (FAR RIGHT) at a counter-protest to a sit-in at the office of Stanford president Wallace Sterling organized by peace activists who opposed Sterling’s plans to assist in the drafting of students. Doesn’t Romney look dapper in his white slacks and sport coat?

Despite Romney’s steadfast support for the war, he still secured a deferral that kept him from serving in the military. And even though he claimed that his deferral was due to his position as a missionary on behalf of his Mormon church (and later a student deferment), he nevertheless found time to attend rallies in favor of sending other young men to war.

LIKE MANY REPUBLICAN HYPOCRITES, ROMNEY IS A CHICKENHAWK who advocates the glory of battle only for other people’s sons. As for his own family, he once responded to a question concerning why none of his five boys were serving in Iraq or Afghanistan by saying that “one of the ways my sons are showing support for our nation is helping to get me elected.” That’s a typically Romulan statement that illustrates what an elitist he is, who considers himself exempt from the rules by which the rest of the peasant hordes must abide….."
About that visit Romney made to a veteran’s homeless shelter in Massachusetts in 1994, during his losing campaign for the senate against Ted Kennedy. Before leaving Romney asked the shelter’s director what the biggest problem at the shelter was. The director said that it was getting enough milk on the meager allowances the shelter received from the state. ROMNEY RESPONDED,“WELL, MAYBE YOU CAN TEACH THE VETS TO MILK COWS.” Good one, Mitt. And maybe they can just eat cake.. http://www.buzzfeed.com/andrewkaczynski/mitt-...

Of course, the Military would support Romney.
Did you hear the MSNBC Obamaphile attack our military on Labor Day Weekend. They don't feel referring to our sons and daughters who fight for America as Heros adequately reflects the feelings of the relentlessly unpatriotic far left progressive freak fringe.

Does anyone really think that if Romney is elected that he will be able to accomplish all he promises (500,000 jobs a month for example, end to high gas prices) in TWO YEARS? Do not say he has four years. After two years the fickle voting public will demand to know why he has not accomplished his promises. Then he will be voted out of office.

Actually, that's dumb. He's trying to 'turn to' centrists and independents. The hard-core Left doesn't really support him, the Liberals will support him no matter what he does.

He's going to take over foreign countries and close them, then send the jobs back to America. Really! He's a genius!

I heard Righties whining about how some commentator said something that upset them. I try not to pay attention to their nonsense, however.

Were all of that true, Obama would have been voted out a year ago.
