Being a terrible president is not grounds for impeachment. But if Mr. Bush ever deceides to have sex with with anyone, other than his wife, he should be impeached, forthwith.

If Bush or Cheney committed any impeachable offenses then it's the duty of the Congress to go forward
with impeachment procedings regardless of the other pressing issues of the country.
That's like saying that if the next president of the US commits an impeachable act the first month of his term, let him get away with it because we are too busy with other matters than to enforce our laws and Constitution.

how having sex is higher on the list of worthy reason to impeached presidents and not lying about wars and other breaking of laws is beyond me.

I'm not saying that it's worth any time to do it to the idiot like bush now that he has a few months left, it's a bit late now, but to say that he hasn't done anything worthy of that...heh... I guess the values in America really has changed.

This opinion by the editorial board tells us everything that is wrong with the USA. That there is no justice and that the rich and powerful are destroying the hard working people of this country. You have to wonder if it was a Democratic President with the same record if this paper would say the same thing...I doubt it. This country is lost to the rich and the corporate. Thank god there is justice after life...

I would love to see the Democrats impeach Bush. That would bring out all the evidence and destroy all the Democrats talking points. The Senate intelligence report of last week, misreported as it was, destroyed the idea that "Bush lied". But, you had to actually read the report, sot the NYT.

Bush will not be impeached because the Democrats know it would reflect poorly on all their talking points. Kucinich, just hasn;t figured that out yet.

Robert Wexler comtinues to shoot from the hip and make poor decisions. This erratic behavior has resulted in a vote to authorize the war, authorize the USA Patriot Act,Support only half of Florida's votes being counted and Arthur Anderson as Supervisor of elections. Haven't you had enough of Robert Wexler yet???

Vote for Ben Graber for Congress...

My comments were a less than successful attempt at sardonic humor.
Actually, Mr. Bush's sex life is his own business and not subject to congessional approval.(Are you listening, Republicans)?
His presidency has been an utter disaster but he'll be out of office in seven months so why waist time and money trying to impeach him?
Let history be his judge.

Impeachment is a political issue, not an exercise in justice. As long as the Republicans block impeachment, and as long as there are insufficient votes to impeach, there will be no impeachment.

The Dems are between Barack and a hard place. With so little experience under his belt the dummocrats really have nothing great to say about their nominee. An impeachment process will keep President Bush's inefficiencies alive till November. What Worthless Wexler is really saying is "See how lousy they are. Now vote for us. We're better." But he doesn't say how. All they have is a bumper sticker about Bush's Third Term.
I'm still waiting for Obama to tell us what "changes" he's planning.

You mean misreported like this, the June 5,2008 press release <in part> of the Senate Intelligence Committee ?

The Committee’s report cites several conclusions in which the Administration’s public statements were NOT supported by the intelligence. They include:

Ø Statements and implications by the President and Secretary of State suggesting that Iraq and al-Qa’ida had a partnership, or that Iraq had provided al-Qa’ida with weapons training, were not substantiated by the intelligence.

Ø Statements by the President and the Vice President indicating that Saddam Hussein was prepared to give weapons of mass destruction to terrorist groups for attacks against the United States were contradicted by available intelligence information.

Ø Statements by President Bush and Vice President Cheney regarding the postwar situation in Iraq, in terms of the political, security, and economic, did not reflect the concerns and uncertainties expressed in the intelligence products.

Ø Statements by the President and Vice President prior to the October 2002 National Intelligence Estimate regarding Iraq’s chemical weapons production capability and activities did not reflect the intelligence community’s uncertainties as to whether such production was ongoing.

Ø The Secretary of Defense’s statement that the Iraqi government operated underground WMD facilities that were not vulnerable to conventional airstrikes because they were underground and deeply buried was not substantiated by available intelligence information.

Ø The Intelligence Community did not confirm that Muhammad Atta met an Iraqi intelligence officer in Prague in 2001 as the Vice President repeatedly claimed.

I will simply point you to some mainstream references to the Senate "Intelligence" Report

I repeat, I would welcome an impeachment attempt. The Democrats know it is merely something to talk about, not to do. Apparently, you, like Kucinich, haven't gotten the memo yet. Watch your mailbox. It should arrive any day now.
