EVEN THE DEAD VOTE FOR OBAMA…
HOUSTON…Thursday, Oct. 8, 2008 The push to register voters for this year's presidential election is breaking records. More than 1.9 million people are registered to vote in Harris County alone. But how many of the people listed on the voter roll are actually eligible to cast a ballot? Investigative reporter Amy Davis shows you how hundreds of voters could sway this year's election -- voters who are not even alive. "All-in-all, a great person, a great woman, just a wonderful person" is how Alexis Guidry described her mother to Local 2 Investigates. "As far back as I can remember, they've always voted in the election," Guidry said of her parents. The March 2008 Primary was no exception. Voting records show Alexis' mom, Gloria Guidry, cast her ballot in person near her South Houston home. "It was just very shocking, a little unsettling," said Alexis Guidry. It's unsettling because Gloria Guidry died of cancer 10 months before the March Primary. "She'd be very upset," Guidry said when asked what her mom would think. Trent Seibert, of Texas Watchdog, says you should be too. "This is really disquieting. It's concerning. It's worrisome," said Seibert. He heads up the non-partisan news group on the web. Texas Watchdog compared Harris County's voter registration roll with the Social Security death index and found more than 4,000 matches -- registered voters that, it appears, are already dead. But could that cautious "better safe than sorry" standard sway an election some say will be a close one? Texas Watchdog found 4,462 registered voters who appear to be deceased. Auditors identified 49,049 registered voters state-wide who may have been ineligible to vote. Approximately 23,576 may have been deceased and another 23,114 were possible felons. And they found more than 2,359 duplicate records. |

Palin Stumped Again On Her Strong Suit -- Energy
If Gov. Sarah Palin, by John McCain's estimation, "knows more about energy than probably anyone in the United States of America," then why is she getting such basic facts about our nation's energy production wrong? |

Which one of you was the crazy gray-haired lady who told McCain that Obama was an Arab? McCain grabbed the microphone out of your clutches. LOL
And which one of you was the gyrating beer-bellied guy with glasses? LOL But if you threaten Obama, I will have to report you to the Secret Service. |

Actually, I rather like Laura Bush. Definitely better than homewrecker Cindy McCain, who's starting to look like Bette Davis in "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?"
And if heaven forbid Baby Cindy's hubby gets in, he'll make the country wish we still had GWB. As Bette would say, "fasten your seat belts, it's gonna be a bumpy 4 years." |

I have listende to the Obama ads.. He says he will not Raise taxes on anyone making less than 250 k..
of course this is not the same figure he used to begin with. but he is very careful of what he says.. If and when the Bush tax cuts expire, as they will.. our taxes go up automatically..... have to listen to what they say..... and does anyone wonder why the big money , esoecially Soros, by his own words.. backing obama has pulled out of the stock market..( aside from having to avoid the hike in capital gains Obama wants..)) does anyone thnk the timing of the crisis is coincidence.. just when Mcain was up in the polls.. they are playing russina roulete with our future to get him elected using the fannie/ freddie mess that they were behind.. talk about social engineering.. |

This kind of borderline illiteracy nearly gave Gore and Kerry the elections. Fear not though. Lots of illiterates have been registered numerous times this election. |

Thanks Mom and Laura...sure do appreciate it. Tell Dad I said "Hi" |

Bush's heart was in an ideology that failed. Bush's tax cuts, namely supply side trickle down voodoo economics has failed. You cannot have tax cuts, a war, and no cuts in spending. And that is why you see 400 billion dollar + deficits and an added 4 trillion dollars in debt. Bush believes in laissez-faire and does nothing else. It is unfortunate to have such a moron in office. During the Olympics Bush said "America has no problems" and I just about fell off the chair. http://www.youtube.com/watch... |

I find it interesting this article glossed over this: "Finding Number Two I find that, although Walt Monegan’s refusal to fire Trooper Michael Wooten was not the sole reason he was fired by Governor Sarah Palin, it was likely a contributing factor to his termination as Commissioner of Public Safety. IN SPITE OF THAT, GOVERNOR PALIN'S FIRING OF COMMISSIONER MONEGAN WAS A PROPER AND LAWFUL EXERCISE OF HER CONSTITUTIONAL AND STATUTORY AUTHORITY TO HIRE AND FIRE EXECUTIVE BRANCH DEPARTMENT HEADS." |

"The single constant in the eternal election remains the media, whose activist role no one will seriously dispute. To point out the prevailing (with honorable exceptions) double standard of reporting so favorable to Mr. Obama by now feels superfluous -- much like talking about the weather. The same holds true for all those reports pointing to Mr. Obama's heroic status outside the United States -- not to mention the cascade of press analyses warning that if he fails to win election, the cause will surely be racism. None of this means that the media's role will go unremembered -- who will forget MSNBC news, voice of the Obama campaign? Never has a presidential election produced more fodder for the making and breaking -- or tainting -- of reputations." |

Did you know that Mohamed Atta, the 9/11 ring leader, had a valid Florida drivers license?
Did you know 13 of the 19 hijackers had obtained valid drivers licenses? Armed with these licenses, eight of the hijackers even registered to vote! Here is the shocking fact: Obama strongly supports giving illegal aliens in America drivers licenses. He said as much during two Democratic debates earlier this year. The head of Homeland Security said such thinking was dangerous for national security. Even Hillary Clinton backed away from Obamas radical drivers license plan. Obamas position is not a new one: We discovered that Obama has been amajor proponent of drivers licenses for illegals since his days as an Illinois state senator. We have no doubt that, as president, Obama will also champion this radical plan. With Osama bin Laden still at large, with al-Qaida promising spectacular attacks on the U.S homeland, with the threat of them using weapons of mass destruction against our cities biological, chemical, and nuclear can we risk putting such a man in the Oval Office? Doesnt he remember what happened on 9/11? More than 3,000 Americans were murdered. Doesnt he want to prevent that from ever happening again? If he supports drivers licenses for illegals, the answer is clear. |
