Statement by assistant secretary of labor for OSHA, on Workers Memorial Day 2008
Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health Edwin G. Foulke Jr. today released the following statement on the observance of Workers Memorial Day, April 28, 2008:
"On this day, we remember and honor those who were injured or lost their lives as a result of job-related hazards. One fatality is one too many. We pay tribute to them and will continue to remain steadfast in our mission of promoting a safe and healthy workplace for all employees"....
