I have a GE Profile dishwasher that is 14 months old and has not worked properly since prior to Thanksgiving. Per conversation with a GE employee my maintance agreement that I purchased only guarantees to to service. I feel that I have endured a hardship without a rather expensive dishwasher that in my opinion should be working. The store I brought it from has been to my home on three occassions and fixed the problem and then the problem reoccurs. It seems clear to me that I need a replacement dishwasher!

I bought a new GE washer in 09/07. The machine flooded my garage in 3/8/08. The GE repairman came and determined the machine needed a part. When it came in he replaced the part and the machine still flooded the garage. While running the tests on the machine another part broke (3/18/08). Part ordered but arrived damaged; part reordered but on backorder until 4/4/08; I requested part be sent overnight so I could get delivery ASAP since I had been without a washer since 3/8/08 (machine 5.5 mos. old at this time).
To date, 4//8/08, one month later, washer still broken, part due to be delivered today, but tech cannot come to my area until 4/10/08 - making it 2 days short of 5 weeks without a washing machine.
I feel that is unreasonable due to the fact that I have a special needs child who has a high susceptibility to infection and has no more clean bedding. I am not confident in this washer, and suspect it will cause me further problems. In my opinion, this machine is a lemon, and I believe I should get another washer.
As a note, I bought a GE washer and dryer because my last washer is 19 years old (still running I'm told) and I felt I could rely on the GE name - I'm now questioning my decision.

What happened to the 1-800 G.E. cares help line? How can you possibly be responsible for that sickening political station, MSNBC which acts like a news show, but has those terribly biased leering clowns. I think people who think and talk like Skeebs, and care little for people's needs, will always have to be using a laundramat when their parents give them some quarters. Bring back Jack Welch!!!

I purchased a GE WBSR3140GWW washer from GE direct over the phone in replacement of another similar (discontinued) model that started leaking transmission oil on my laundry; just ruined too many precious baby items before I could determine where the stains are coming from. So I purchased a new one. It was delivered and connected up by GE contracted people. They started running the water but didn't wait to actually see it working. Sure enough, 2 minutes later the washer was filled up except the agitator wouldn't move, clicking loud and no movement happens in any cycle. I called GE immediately, got a case # and got transferred to customer service. I explained the problem and asked for a replacement. The answer was NO, the woman had told me the machine is NOT defected (as she would possibly determine that over the phone) in a RUDE manner. Taking that as a solution GE is offering I disputed the charge on my credit card. I still tried to get at least a supervisor or anyone in charge so I called back. I again got just a representative who offered to send a tech to my house and if he says it's defected I possibly get a replacement. Well 'possibly' is not too promising. Fixing is absolutely not an option. That's like buying a pair of pumps with broken heels that the store is offering to send to the shoe repair guy. NO THANKS! If the washer is not working new I don't want it and GE doesn't seem to understand that. As my husband put it 'if GE doesn't make arrangements to have it picked up, it will be ditched on the street, gotta make room for a new one, definitely NOT GE.'

As a share holder I would like to see the CEO sell off all NBC televison stations they do not make a profit for the shareholders and we need to make sure everything we own make a profit for the shareholders. I also think the CEO has not done a good job and should be replaced the CEO has forgotten who owns the company it is not him but the shareholders. One exception would be to hold CNBC which does make a profit and further it is not political. General Elelctic NBC Televison stations should not be an outlet for political stands which unfortunatly it has become with a strong left leaning stance. I hope this message is passed to the Board of Directors and one more point make sure board members are not on too many boards aa they cannot do the job they are paid for. Thank you
