Grizzly was working with three experienced trainers at time of attack Rocky the grizzly bear is seen at the Forever Wild animal sanctuary in Phelan, Calif.

Sympathy to the family of the victim of the bear attack. I am not an animal rights activist however the words 'trained bear' are an oxymoron. Bears belong in their natural habitat; not the movies. In this age of computer and movie tech isn't having 'trained' animals getting old. Yes, it is unfortunate that this bear attacked and killed the trainer. But, that's why they're called 'animals' In the end, it's at your own risk.;

This never would have happened if Ferrell was there to best the bear with a figure four leg lock.

I agree with Ann above. Leave the animals in the wild and things like this won't happen. My sympathies go out to the family.

It is a freaking bear, what other reason does it need to bite?

Did anyone see that movie Grizzly Man? The bears let him get comfortable for a while before one of decided to eat him.
