Unstable rock wall likely cause of Lassen slide

LASSEN VOLCANIC NATIONAL PARK, Calif. a " A preliminary investigation at Lassen Volcanic National Park found that a portion of a rock wall that gave way along a popular hiking trail caused the rock slide that killed a 9-year-old boy.Tommy Botell was hiking with his family when heavy rocks fell down the steep Lassen Peak Trail and rolled over him.
