Louisiana has much more important internal issues to deal with than to be concerned over the monastic making and sale of hand made coffins.
The very state regulations cited to prevent the sale of these coffins speaks to the corruption in the state. Don't want to offend those campaign donating morticians.

A group of monks in Louisiana has sued to overturn state regulations that prevent them from selling hand-made burial caskets.
