Sorry, NO, you get with it!!! We will become like the tower of Babel if we don't have a common language. I don't have problems with being bilingual, just let me pick the one I want. I would much rather speak French than Spanish...and I don't want my country overrun with people who come here expecting me to accommodate and don't think enough of my country than to first learn the language. These children are being unjustly taught if you feel that you must be bilingual in order to teach them. They will never have full command of the English language if when they go home their parent's don't speak English, they listen to Telemundo all day, and then go to school and have someone accommodate their lack of command of the English language?!!! They already have a drop our rate that exceeds any other group in America! They will never assimilate at this rate. Quite frankly, I would hope that they don't and just leave! Feelfree to go with them, they will need people like you in mehico to accommodate the deported children with their transition back to their native land!
Sit with this for a moment! You are damaging them by being bilingual!!! Oh, and if bilingual, what language, Chinese (Mandarin, Schauan, Tiwanese,(sp?!!!) etc.), Amharic, Filipino...get my drift, or are you mainly promoting the Spanish language. If so, why? Other children are to be ignored in order to accommodate mexican's unwillingness to embrace American culture? Shame on you, teach! You are feeding the entitlement culture!
