So....it would be ok if it was in some rundown, lower-middle class or even high-middle class neighborhood or town. But, when it's in some rich folks territory, no way! Got news for them, it's all about shared responsibility. Those near the bottom to the middle, take on a lot of society's ill..as it should be. But, the same runs true for those in higher income bracket. There is nothing in the US Constitution that says prisons, drug facilities and immigration facilities should "only reside in every neighborhood, with the exception of "rich folks".

Correct. Instead of having farting contests in prison, put the inmates to work under heavy supervision learning constructiom trades to build new prisons and take the workload from the courts.

Privately-run prisons are a big mistake. They shouldn't be anywhere in this country!

The Fla State legislature has responsibility in this, and a wealthy land deverloper and owner is the vector in this crooked deal. There needs to be a high level investigation into the dealings, because it sure smells of corruption, payola, and more. Get this- The prison company CCA- was told if they put a few cows in the prison grounds, the will be given an agricultural tax break-paying less than $5000 a year on a facility that any other business would pay millions. So the County, which is the taxing authority is defrauded of millions of dollars, because of a crooked deal with ICE, CCA, and the crooked mayor of SW Ranches.

Please get the word out and demand a congressional investigation, as I believe the crimes committed go up the ladder to Washington. There are other areas and towns that really want this prison, and these places are not next to homes, schools, parks, churches, and shooping centers,

Our own congressional members are part of this-too-Rubio, Wasserman Schultz, and Bill Nelson all are working against the will of the residents. This is Crony capitialism in our front yards.

The real criminal in this is the federal government. If they did their job there would be no need for these prisons because there would be no illegals here. If the president did his job of securing the border, these prisons would not be needed. Think about all the costs associated with the wide open border and the illegal problem.. We pay for thousands of extra police and law enforcement, the social welfare system is drained by billions because of these illegal criminals, and then you pay to house, feed, and care for them. You pay when the get here and you pay to house them. then you pay to fly them home.

As taxpayers we are fed up with congress and this incompetent president. Look at the budget and deficit. Its been 3 years and no budget. Congress cant do its job, so it creates a special comission to take the necessary measures. This gang cant even get the job done, and its down to the last hour. So what happens if they fail to meet the deadline ? Some idiot decided the cuts wil come from the nations defense budget, strained by two wars and previous budget cuts. This is a serious matter and bad decisions by the idiots on the comission, will put America at risk. Threw the bums out, but start with the big bum Obama.

Does the US do the same thing for its citizen detainees? NO! If you are picked up for a minor offense and have no priors, you are held with the rest of them until you either post bail or have a trial or hearing. This crap about making it easier to reach for detainees' relatives and lawyers is another thing not provided to American citizens!!! Where do we get this to provide more for people who shouldn't be here than we do for our own?!!! They came from a foreign country, have moved all over the US, and suddenly we want to place them near their relatives and lawyers...buncha crap...again!

As sad as it seems, this is coming to a neighborhood near you! The US is now left with two industries, prison and military! You do know about the FEMA camps!!! They are building prisons all over the US, some from US, some for illegal aliens, though it seems that illegal aliens will get the best ones. Also, prisons are being run by private corporations. Wake up America!!!
