I hope you all realize that there are other parts of the state where destruction was a lot worse than here. Patrick is doing his best.

He will do what he can. What do you expect him to do? He did not cause this disaster and NO ONE expected this amount of destruction. Money is as tight as it ever has been and now with Republicans refusing to fund FEMA unless you take away more entitlements from people who are already suffering in this recession. Go figure.

There are several entitlements that need doing away with and paying the ignorant masses to have more illegetimate kids would be a great start. It would put a crimp in the growth of the burgening welfare under class which is the source of the majority of crime,drug use,school disruptions and over all decline in the standard of living of everyone on the dole and anyone unlucky enough to have to rub shoulders with these life long wards of the state.Balance the budgit and stop the spread of socialism/communisim is what the Tea Party is all about. What is the base of the democRAT party? Welfare leaches, disfunctional people, blacks,homosexuals, socialist / communist and brain washed kids who don't know the difference between education and indoctrination and who are being raised to think the state is supposed to take care of you.

were not talking about welfare here. people that live in the spruces worked, many have good jobs but like the life style of park living. some live there because a spouse could have died and the house they had together was to big so they down graded
our government wasted our money on a war that really wasn't even our business. how many trillions was wasted and now the government blames the good hard working people of usa.
we rebuild road over in Iraq, Afghanistan, we even designed a special truck to rebuild those roads. we give them free medical supplies, food. our elderly have to chose between food and prescriptions. it also seems you don't know the difference either between people that work and those who don't. you should get reeducated. many people know they are not entitle to anything that they did not work for. but this is different mother nature hit us hard and many good and bad people did lose everything from Florida to Canada, color of skin or sexuality unwed mother and men that just keep making babies with every women they sleep are in the same boat as with the working class and the elderly . one thing i do agree with you is why do we have to support these unwed mothers. having kids is a choice and its their choice not anyone elses. put the blame on the men also that just make babies left and right and don't pay a penny to take care of their kids it takes two to tango not one...get after these fathers and also make the mothers work.. its a small step toward us getting out of debt but it will help. you do have a wrong attitude about some things. i worked all my life got injured on my job, nerve damage can't feel things in my arms and can't drive. lucky i could go on disability, my husband lost his job of 30years now he is to over qualified for many jobs. he would take anything for job if he could get one..

My Aunt has a friend that did live at the Spruces.
She is a working women who lost her husband with a good paying job. Her husband did not want to her to be bothered keeping up their big house so they sold it while he was still alive and bought a trailer at the park. It was the best thing they did. He did die, with no children it was the right home for them. Working people do live at trailer parks and pay taxes. So why shouldn't these people get help from the government when they always paid into the system and never took anything. These people are good descent people that need help and they should get it..

The main problem with "U go Figure" is that he is a bigot and they do not want Obama or Gov. Patrick to do anything good and maybe get reelected because they care about Americans. He looks at those who have lost their low wage jobs and cannot find any work as nothing more than street trash that should be tossed in the dump. He does however enjoy the clean water that flows from his faucet, the roads that he drives on, the police force and fire department that protects him and his property,and his right to freely express his opinion although he uses the internet to blather his hate anonymously. He just watches too much Fox News and listens to Rush Bimbo and Sean Hannity who also seem to hate America because we have a black president. We were never so contentious in any other administration. The truth is the steps that Obama has taken to date have only kept us from a depression without any help from congress. The day President Obama was elected Sen McConnell said their main job was to make sure Obama was a 1 term president. They didn't think that JOBS should be their main objective and have not put any jobs bills on the table and any bills they did put forth had to have tax cuts for the rich attached along with cuts to entitlements for those of us who can't work anymore. We have 14 months before our next election and the TEA Party has to go because the are only interested in making sure that Obama is a one term president. No president has been perfect but this president has tried just about everything to jump start the economy but the forces against him refuse to invest in America thru building and repairing our infrastructure. The money on the sidelines will probably stay there until the next president is inaugurated. Above all else we must not give this government over to the TEA Party and the Republicans so they can dismantle it. We have come too far to let them screw the average man and reward the rich upper class.

You watch too much Sean Hannity. You must look at the cause of the unemployment and the cause of the rise in the national debt. One who really studies will find that the real truth is that it would not have mattered with McCain in office because he would have faced the same recession and the unfunded wars and unfunded prescription drug program and the mortgage crisis and bank failures. It does not matter who is in the White House now or in 2013. It is what it is and it will take a lot better thinkers than we have now, every day pointing fingers accusing the president of creating this mess. Putting a Republican in charge at this time will be like putting the fox in charge of the hen house.

it was a mistake to voye in obama and you know it he came in here with hope and change,how do you like that change now and as for hope , the hope is we dont have another liberal in office for twenty years because the damage obama has done will take at least twenty years untill we start to dig ourselfs out of the mess he has put us in

Larry, get in line with the rest of the stupid bigots who continue to think the blame for our problems should be put on Obama's shoulders. He didn't start the unnecessary wars, the banking crisis, the unfunded prescription drug plan, and the private sector sitting on their money and moving their assets overseas to boost their profits. Stop listening to Rush and Sean and do some of your own investigating to get a better view of our country and who the real players are and what their agendas are. Blame Obama? I don't think so.
