If we really want transparency in government, back-room deals need exposure to the light of public scrutiny prior to reaching the floor for a vote.

In addition to cutting the lobby revenue stream, require public identification, by every lobbyist on a weekly basis, of each and every politician or political staffer they meet with.

Lobbyists should be required to publicly post, on a weekly basis, what topics were discussed with politicians and/or staff.

Additionally, a 'sunshine' law should be enacted requiring all lobbying position papers on proposed or pending legislation be publicly posted for scrutiny at least two weeks prior to any votes on legislation the papers allude to or address.

Far too many bills are crafted by special interest group staffers before finding their way into political hands for submission to the legislative process. In too many cases to list, politicians, when scrutinized after the fact, have fallen back on a flawed defense that they never completely read the bills they sponsored into law.

This loophole should be closed by bringing the process into the "light of day".

Notice how the Hartford (Pravda) Courant won't allow any comments on the gay Court Decree!
Now that the bastardized court has decreed (with banned Public voting) this travesty the next step is that the gays want their life style taught in the schools ... starting in Kindergarden ... and want the Public to pay for it!
Doubt me? Watch!

It is too bad almost no one from the public shows up to these trials.

When the Connecticut Judiciary had ethics evaluations, and internal whistle blowers showed up and talked about felonies being committed by judicial managers and judges, the "public" comment was sealed by the Connecticut Judicial branch.

The Judicial Branch then had a special hearing on how well, and ethically they are running the Judicial branch after sealing the public comment. I and one other person from the entire Connecticut public were there. I was the only one filming and I am the only one who posted this on youtube.

If someone was ripping off a hundred or two hundred dollars off from you and your neighbors EACH, EVERY WEEK, of EVERY YEAR shouldn't you care. You are being ripped off every week by the Connecticut Judicial Branch.

They are hiring friends and relatives. Many have 6 figure jobs and aren't required to do work to the value of 6 figures and some don't even have to show up.

Remember when you are in the bread lines. You worked all of your life to make sure a worker in the Connecticut judicial branch had a comfortable life, no stress, no worries, and a lot of time for vacations and enjoying a 6 figure lifestyle.
