Waggin Train Chicken tenders as of this date 4/22/08 made each of four dogs that consumed two fillets, sick. They had bloody diarrhea, and yellow slimly mucus , bloody black stools. This is the last time any pets of mine will get this as a treat. I purchased a total of six bags at the price of 12.88 from two diffrent Sam's Clubs. And today return all, and notified the manager. I do not believe that anything will change, because if it was this would have been in the news. And I would not have had to have four sick dogs from problem dog food.

We have 2 Aussies that also have been addicted to these Waggin Train Chicken Tenders bought at Sams Club. Both dogs have been vomiting with this last bag and we immediately stopped feeding them these. Once we stopped giving them any, they have quit vomiting. The company may not admit there is a problem, but there seems to be too many of us that are having this problem. I too will return the unopened bags.

Hope all those people like Horrified who think we are all nuts come to their senses soon before they hurt their innocent pets.

Yeah, we know ... you are PAID to say that.

If YOUR pet was sick or died because of these treats, I would like to see you change your tune.

Wake up, Jennifer. Your company is producing things that sicken and/or KILL people's beloved pets - members of their family.

Through these blogs and postings we are STANDING UP for our pet's health, and we are STANDING UP TO YOUR COMPANY.

My family will NEVER buy your products again, and I will keep telling my family, friends, co-workers, clients, strangers in the store, etc. until YOUR COMPANY STOPS MAKING DANGEROUS FOODSTUFFS FOR OUR PETS!!!!!

I don't know how you sleep at night knowing your company is DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE for our pets deaths. You can lie to yourself (and others) as much as you want, but there are those of us who know the TRUTH and we are telling others.

WATCH OUT BIG BUSINESS ... We aren't going to take this any more.

Today is June 8,2008. My small terrier [17lb.] became sick twice after feeding her Waggin Train Chicken Jerky Treats from China. It didn't register the first time. We were in Ohio visiting at the time. She had chills and could not control her bladder. This time I realized it was the W T Treat I had given her. I could not get to vet over the weekend so gave her collidal silver, brewers yeast, doggie vitamins and plain yogurt. She is almost back to normal. I got online and read all the pro and cons about W T Treats. I took the bag back yesterday. They gave me my money back, but to my knowledge didn't remove them from the shelf. I am thankful I checked this product before I gave her any more.

I purchased Waggin' Tail jerky and gave one to my dog. He developed diarrhea within 12 hours. This was about 2 months ago. He seems to be fine - but no more jerkly treats! I bought these at our local Walgreen's.

I have a small 12 lb Terrier mix, I have been giving her Waggin Train Jerky Treats since I found them in Costco in December. I have never seen her have any adverse problem to the treats. I give her 2 maybe 3 per day. She LOVES them and they work very well for training her. I have read a lot of the posts on here about this brand of treats and I am concerned. I'll definitely start looking for an alternative to my dog's treats.

I have had my min pin to the vets twice with diarrhea and vomiting 200.00 dollars with no diagnosis.I soaked a cut up pieceof the chicken tenders and found very thin plastic that must hold the tenders together. This must be the contamination that is making our dogs sick.the tenders are 6inches by 1 1/2 inches thats a big piece of plastic!!!! she has had no problem sinc I stopped feeding them they are now over 19 dollars also.please test for that and save our dogs a lot of pain

I have 5 dogs and have been giving them an occassional treat of the chicken jerky. My smallest dog has been throwing up and had a few seizures since i fed him this product,. A small piece every other day. My larger dogs all have runny diarrhea. Before the treats all were fine. I threw the rest away once I did some research and found out others were having the same problems. Oh by the way I took the smallest to the vet and had bloodwork done, stool samples, urine samples and xrays they couldn't find anything wrong. I am going to call them to see if they did a toxicity test. I bet not.

I have a 10 month old Shih Tzu and gave her a different brand of chicken Jerkey Treats. After two of them she was extremely ill. She had bloody diarreah and was lethargic. I don't think any of these treats, no matter the brand are suitable for small dogs.

Because I saw "made in China" on the Waggin Train Jerky Tenders bag, I decided to look the ADI company up. Now when I see all these compaints about dogs getting sick and dying, there's no way I'm going to keep these doggie "TREATS".

That's a real treat when your dog dies, isn't it, ADI?

This bag is going to be returned to Sam's for a full refund and I will request that they take the rest off the shelves and read the posts. I don't think Sam's or Walmart wants to be responsible for the deaths of any dogs!!!

When I noticed that Waggin Train Jerky Tenders were "Made in China", I decided to investigate the ADI Web site. I recall too many e-mails that have been flying around about what is being made from dead and diseased chickens in China.

Now on this Web site I see all these complaints about dogs getting sick and dying from eating Waggin Train Jerky Tender treats. That's really some "TREAT", ADI!!! Yeah, right!

I am not only going to return the bag I bought at Sam's Wholesale for a refund, but am going to suggest they look on this Web site and read the posts for themselves and take the product off the shelves.

I know this is an old post but I want to make sure that dog owners know about the Made in China threat to our dogs. There are two good sites for info:

www.konaschips.com

This site contains useful info and chicken jerky for dogs made in America

http://www.laciessite.org/

The above site is for info about pets who have been ill or died from chicken products from China

My family has had four dogs -- different breeds -- cav king charles, cockapoo and bull mastiff, all of whom exhibited these symptoms you all describe above. My mom just mentioned this and I googled to see if there was any information. My post looks like a year later than the above flurry of postings, but the issue seems to be continuing. Has anyone tried to take this story to the media? There is something going on that needs to be uncovered. Marketing spin certainly isn't making anyone feel better.

I have 2 small dogs that have been eating these waggin train brand chicken jerky tenders. I bought l bag at Wal Mart and I am on the second bag bought at Sams. I got on line to check out this product, and I found out about all the problems dogs are having after eating jerky tenders. I am taking my bag back to Sams. I am not going to take a chance on my dogs getting sick or worst.

My dog has had Waggin Tail chicken jerky for 3 years. This year he became ill with diarrhea and vomiting. Stopped the "treats" & he got a bit better. Now he is not eating, has diarrhea and threw up clear phlegm with some blood this AM. He is going to the vet's this afternoon. My dog weighs 38 lbs, my son's dog is 100 lbs, he gave his dog one strip and that night the dog had diarrhea. We threw out the 6 lbs of treats last week which were purchased at Costco.

I started giving my dog "Waggin' Train Chicken Tenders 2 strips a day, 3 weeks ago. She showed signs of not wanting much to eat within a week and began losing weight rapidly. She also began having diarhea. upcoming . I've stopped giving her the treats as soon as the news came out but her problems are persisting. I've made an appt with her Vet. I, too, went to the Waggin'Train web site and read their press release on 8/25/07. Even though they disclaim any problem I am very wary because it was the only change in diet my pet had.The vendor # is 933737 and the lot # is 94270.
The only change in our dogs diet was also the Waggin Train Chicken Jerky Tenders. He has spent the last 2 nights at the vets on an IV. He developed severe bloody diarreh and throwing up after snacking on it them. The lot #933737. Needs to be recalled.

I recently purchased a bag of Waggin Train Chicken Jerky treats from Costco as I was advised by my vet to put my one dog on a protein only diet. I have 3 small dogs (2xWire Fox Terriers and a Pug) so for the last 3 days have been giving them very small pieces of the tenders as treats or rewards. Since feeding my dogs this brand, they have been sick with diarhea and vomitting. This is the only thing different in their diet. I decided to Google "waggin train chicken jerky making dogs sick" and of course was shocked to see how many forums there are surrounding this product. Needless to say as of today I have discontinued giving them this product, and will be returning the bag to Costco making them aware of what's happened. I only hope there is no long term damage? Over the course of 3 days I have only fed them 2 strips in entirety, but even the small quantities have caused issues from what I've read in other columns.
