this is such crap, they blame behavior changes on everything, people.. learn to deal with life and maybe you wont be so depressed or pychotic! Just being able to breathe should be enough to put you in a good mood!

It coincides with the current policy on asthmatics presenting at the emergency desks of public hospitals in recent years.

Rather than like it was back before 2005, where you'd get to sit in a bed with an oxygen mask in one hand and a little monitor on the index finger of your other, relaxing while you monitor the return of your blood/oxy levels from the mid 70s to the mid 90s for a few hours and maybe check out before breakfast in the morning, they have a new system colloquially known as 'code-black' where they hold you down and inject enough tranquilisers into you to know you sensless for the next week, avoiding the need for psychological assessment before attempting to treat the unconscious asthmatic.
You are ignorant

"Metallic taste is a hallmark side effect of adenosine administration. These symptoms are transitory, usually lasting less than one minute. It is classically associated with a sense of "impending doom" (or a feeling of death), more prosaically described as apprehension. This lasts a few seconds after administration intravenously. In some cases adenosine can make patients' limbs feel numb for about 2–5 minutes after administration intravenously depending on the dosage (usually above 12 mg). During the immediate effect of the drug, patients will be in pain for about 2–10 seconds."

This is what these drugs do to your body and mind. It is not about being "happy" it is about HOW our system WORKS!

To Nadine from Newark:

You have obviously not spent years watching your child's mental health deteriorate while taking Singulair or you wouldn't have made such a ridiculous comment. In less than a week of stopping Singulair, my child's psychiatric problems went away. NOTHING else changed but no more Singulair.

What is CRAP is the fact that it took the FDA such a long time to request a labeling change for Singulair. What is CRAP is when people make insensitive and ignorant comments like yours.
