Hi I have 5 stent implants that are drug eluting. I have to say that with time there will be improvements to these type of life saving medical procedures in the future. Competition among MFR's for market share will be the driving force and with that improvements on design will abound. The one thing that has had me concerned is the stent card issued to the patient meaning me. I lost my wallet with no way to replace them. I finally found my wallet to my relief. I found a company named Stent Card dot com that makes duplicate stent cards that can endure washing machines without worry that your data will get destroyed. The one thing I wish to get across to those that read this is....follow your Doctors orders on the blood thinners and take your meds timely. Also, get moving...get exercise like walking and do it a little at a time and work your way up. I can now walk 5 miles on the beach. It makes you feel good too! Visit web sites for information about how and what you are feeling to relieve your worries. Unfortunately the drs don't have the time to explain what that first yr will be like. Want to chat hit me up sunjudy@comcast.net. Have a healthy day!
