Chemical in plastic safe after all? FDA says so

Despite ongoing safety concerns from parents, consumer groups and politicians, a chemical used in baby bottles, canned food and other items is not dangerous, federal regulators said Friday.

All we need now is for someone's testing, five years down the road, to reveal a statistical link between bisphenol and, say, autism spectrum disorder. Unfortunately, 'five years down the road' is going to entail five more years of population growth at 'one out of every 150 children'... And do NOT try and say it does not have anything to do with autism -- you have no way to tell, one way or the other.
