Julie-Zounds Employee My father has had your hearing aids for about 3 years. he now lives in Colorado without any Zounds stores. He needs to have the aids checked as they are not working properly. Now what do we do? Thanks for any help.

I've mailed my hearing aid to the closest hearing center. They fixed it and mailed it back.

You could try calling Zounds at 888-596-8637, or EMail them at info@zoundshearing.com

Hey there Gerri and sorry for the late response. Where did he purchase originally??? It is a lot easier to mail your aids to the exact location that you purchased. Your home store with have a hard copy of your records and know more about what kind of issues your father has had in the past and know how to handle it on a more personal level

He purchased them in Mesa Arizona. Any zounds stores still open there?

What makes Zounds Hearing the place to go for hearing aids-
1. incredible sound quailty, i would put the clareza 16 bte hearing aid up against any others.
2. excellent service! no waiting if there is a problem with the hearing aid they will service it right there and if they cant fix it they will replace it so you never go without.
3. good prices and always running coupons to lower the price.
4. no pressure the hearing aid specialist is NOT on commission they recieve salary reguardless if they sell. and they connect with the users and try to truely help people hear better.
5. they are expanding. many more stores will be going up everywhere.
these are all strait facts i know take it from a insider. I see many zounds users and I can honestly say the people are happy with there hearing aids and the service they get, of course you cant please everyone but a large majority love the hearing aids!

To be totally honest i dont think for a long while. Right now there focusing on the states that are doing very well and expanding there like Arizona and Florida..so i can imagine it will be another few years before they look into expanding to any other state.

Zounds, hearing aids are unreliable, cheap and do not last, the company will nickel and dime you to pieces, their only focus is sales, sales, sales. being a former employee, it used to be a good company, with costomer service goals, now they are over priced, they dont care about service, they pulled out of markets leaving hundreds of users with out help and high and dry , the company just wants those people to go away. they are not financially sound, employees are not given goals or budgets just hammered on sales, sales, if you dont get a sale or you get a return your job is on the line, so truely I say to all buyer beware I honestly do not think that they will be around long term, with product instability, over pricing, non licensed or inexperienced people that they work from 8-6 m-sat, upper managment does not know what they are doing, altho the engeenering team is great, but they just cannot compete in this market place the direction they are heading.
