Sweep nets 15 arrests in Fitchburg

This went very smoothly. Lots of times..you get these many agencies together and the egos get going and problems of turf come up...not this time. Keep the eye on the prise was the rule of the day for LEO's and outside consultants alike.

The FBI, The ATF, The DEA, The state police and the FPD. Removing these guns is a major plus for Fitchburg. Hopefully these agencies stay within the city.

I strongly believe that there are more to be arrested concerning guns. There are stone cold killers that have not been caught for their crimes yet! I have heard that Mrytle Ave is a gun haven.

There are things taking place on or around elm street that the FPD should have a grasped on. I knew the FBI was in the city as I am glad! We need their expertice!

Another brilliant idea from the words most stupid. Like gang bangers and drug dealers are just going to walk into the police station and say "Hey I have an illegal gun that I shot someone with what can you give me for it? I won't take less than $50.".

This shows some depth. Usually when a one day bust occurs they drag in a target number that tends to be anyone who they could but from.

I dont know any of these folks but it looks like they got a network and not a random 15 users who sometimes purcahse for others.

One town i lived in a cop stuck around , drank and smoked and eventually got drugs from all sorts of people who may have split a purchase with the guy. I knew most of the arrestees as i drank and didnt mess with drugs.

This raid reads like they caught a few different groups that bring powdered drugs into town.

Make no mistake, the Feds don't deal with small time criminals. These people are big time criminals that will be going away for a very long time, some maybe even for life. The Feds don't spend two years of resources on petty criminals.
Local Authorities in this liberal state haven't the laws to put these scumbags away for very long so they did the right thing and used Federal resources and charges.

The Federal law that will be used in putting away these scumbag career criminals for so long is called the "Three Strikes Law, as in Three Strikes you're outta here...... see yeah!

The FPD needs to produce more and it needs better management. Remember the FBI, ATF, DEA and the state police were here to assist. It is just the beginning as accessments are being done and they are not complimenting!
