Only recently has the b1-bomber been released to the public, and its an impressive peice of technology within itself! But get this, the b1-bomber is ww2 technology, F-ING WORLD WAR 2 TECH! Its now what? 2010? There's no telling what we have now, or what we are capable of! Ask yourself this...whoose flag is on the moon?

I just actually read your comment and it is nonsense. You bring up the fact that U.S.A. is 200+ years old while European countries are 1000+ years old but that is completely irrational. You act like the U.S.A. started without anything. You derived off of the British. The U.S. has accomplished a lot and the rest of the world thanks them for that but there are also many other advanced countries such as China, Japan, Switzerland, Finland, Great Britain, etc. Dont take all of the credit for yourselves while China and other countries do a lot to contribute to technological advancements. Sure the U.S. was great but has slowly begun a great demise other countries are beginning to catch up. American citizens have to stop being so cocky and self-centered. America really isn't as great as all of you make it up to be. Every country has flaws including the U.S.

There's nothing irrational about it. Italy for example dates back to the B.C.E. Finland as well dates back to 3000–2500 BCE and this is just but a few countries that come to mind at the moment. Why are people so nationalistic and not honest? What will make us all free is the truth! Computers were NOT a USA invention, indeed, the USA has invented little, it has improved - immesnsely on a lot, a survey of most things that are taken for granted today will reveal that most of the ideas - not all - but most- certainly a large disproportinate amount for the Scottish ( I am not Scottish!) Every country has contributed to the advancement in society in its own way. Technology may predominately come from the US, however think of Art, certainly other nations far surpass the US in its creation.

Usa just improved not invented most of the tech we use. You know. Its amazing to me how close minded and uneducated some people can be. Don't you realized that science has no nation. Science is human.

We as a species have advanced technology farther and farther as the years went on. And you cannot talk about technology and just mention the last 200 years. Why, because all of a sudden there was a giant leap in our abilities to advance science.

Now. If you don't mind Joe Momma. Europe came out of the Middle Ages long before the United States was created.

There are many things that were INVENTED by Europeans or others and were then perfected by Americans and will be perfected again by who ever.

One good example is the Internet. The French invented the internet. They invented the technology and concept. They did not however realize the potential for their invention. Did not think they needed to patent it as they were using it in France already. It was called the Minitel. Showed it to Americans among others at a Science fair. Americans ran home, took the French design, patent it. And declared themselves inventors of the internet.

Now. Can you seriously sit there and deny the importance of such an invention. And even if Americans patented it and used it for profit. The brains which invented it were not American. And thats what we are talking about here. The BRAINS. The mental capacity to invent amazing things.

As for military advancements. Well, saying that America is simply better then everyone else is completely false. You might have more fire power and might be willing to screw up your economy in order to spend billions you don't have on acquiring more weapons. But in military technology, you are far from the world leader.

For instance, you weren't even the ones who created the first atom bomb. The Nazis were. The bombs dropped on Nagasaki and Hiroshima were made in Nazi Germany by German scientists. Brought to the US in secret, and The German scientists of the Manhattan Project (Oppenheimer & Einstein) were able to study it. The one technological advancement the USA made which made the atom bomb deadly and which the Germans were unable to do was to build a reliable delivery system for the bomb. That the Germans had not been able to do. And after the war, the Americans got their hands on the scientists and the research which is known as Nazi Germany's super weapons. Like the first Jet Fighter in History. German made under Nazi rule.

JOE MOMMA. You remind me of the guy from Mail Call from the History Channel. Youtube it. He compares an MP40 and a Thompson. In his demonstration, the MP40 is clearly much more powerful and especially accurate. But he declares the Thompson the better sub-machine gun. Now that is just plain stupid and biased.
