Cahokia airport celebrates its new control tower

Things are looking up in Cahokia. Tower and Overpass.

Sure is. Between the Martin Luther King Freedom Bridge and the Rev. Al Sharpton Tower, it looks like Cahokia is finally recognizing what the Black Men have done for this city.

they have done alot ran off the white man brought down property values got nail salons and beauty supply stores payday loans protect the streets from the elements by covering them with trash and most of all removed two of my mothers doors and removed those pesky tv's stereos and video game units and computers the black man what would we do without him (i would like to find out)

Ididit,were the people who broke into your mothers house arrested and convicted? If not, how do you know they were black? When I lived in Cahokia, my white neighbor was the one who broke into my house. He was caught and convicted. But since he was white, he just got a slap on the wrist.

I can't believe that the new tower was not named after the man who took credit for it being built, Mayor Frank Bergman. Why not name both projects after him since he single handedly brought both projects to fruition. What a country!!!!!

Not sure about the tower, but I almost got ran over by some fire car from the airport a few weeks back.It has bright stickers and lights. I would think if you are from the airport you would not be running all you lights and sirens going away from the airport. Does anyone know what that vehicle is for?

Maybe someone should call metro, I am sure they would love to know that there money is driving around all over the place chasing fire trucks.
