In brief: global temperature variations correlate precisely with Solar activity. As for the sustained hype over Ice Cap melting and sea level rise, Ice core drilling in the fast ice off Davis Station in East Antarctica shows that last year, the ice had a maximum thickness of 1.89m, its densest in 10 years. The average thickness of the ice at Davis since the 1950s is 1.67m. To emphasize the importance of these statistics, Antarctica contains 90% of the world's ice pack. Now you know why the inventor of the internet, Albert Gore, refuses to debate the issue. If the Global Warming enthusiasts were sincere in their intent to reduce CO2 emissions they would be actively promoting the significantly expanded use of Nuclear Power for America's electrical energy generation, not only to rerduce CO2 emissions; but, as well, to dramatically reduce our dependence on imported energy resources; and, to provide a distributed grid with dormant interconnectivity. The logic in this dilemma is exceedingly transparent, our Dictatorial Marxist, Barack Obama, simply wants more control over your activities and lifestyle; and, the health of the American economy be dammed. 1 You are right. The only people who are going to profit from this is bernie Madoffs who deal in Phony Carbon Credits. Their electric bill will be out of sight. They have closed Yucca Mountain Nuclear Waste Site by Presidential Decree. Where are we going to put the waste they generate when we use electric power. They can only store so much on site and then they have to shut down. Will we be forced to have oil, coal, gas and diesel powered generating plants operating to give us light. Wait until you have to sell your parents home or your own, According to the new Cap and Trade, it must meet all environmental standards and be inspected by a new inspectional service created and trained by the government. 1 Hmm, perhaps a day comes when the wildfires (fill in your local disaster) come and folks just walk away, that or there will either be lots of rental property or sell it with the buyer paying the bonus for the upgrades. Cap & Trade is not in the best interest of the country. I'm not sure that we can meet the demand for petroleum for much longer, because they won't let us build any new refineries. That stuff doesn't work too well in the automobile as it comes straight out of the ground. |
